I almost forgot to write a review for this place. Not long after coming to Montreal around Sept 2023, we visited this place for a bit of pizza. The food was actually ok. We spent another 2 years living in Montreal from that point and always bypassed this place when it came to food. Why didn't we come back? Well, the waitress at the time had the brass neck to say the $5 tip was not enough! Glad to be back home where tipping isn't just an expectation and it's actually earned and appreciated.

Don’t believe the bad reviews. Went here with my family and ordered pizza, fries and garlic bread. It was delicious and the service was excellent! Family friendly. Loved sitting outside on the patio by the water.

I’m very surprised at the number of poor reviews! My husband, two younger children and I had lunch here today. We ordered three pizzas and the spaghetti bolognese and it was great! The service was excellent and prompt. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely eat here again.

We had an excellent experience here this week. The host (owner?) Mario was very welcoming and made sure we were well taken care of. We had poutine and pizza, both of which were great.

I had a terrible experience at Cibo and Vino. The food was the worst I’ve had in a long time—bland and disappointing. Our server was doing her best, but the owner completely ruined our visit.
He was rude, drinking while working, and even demanded that we leave a tip. That’s completely unacceptable. Tipping should never be forced—especially when the service and food don’t deserve it. I regret dining here and would recommend everyone to think twice before going. This place left a very bad impression and I won’t be returning.

Cold and unwelcoming staff. As soon as we sat down we had doubts since we didn’t even get a hello. So we looked at the reviews. After seeing the reviews about long wait, sub-par quality food and rude staff, we decided to get up and leave about 30sec after placing our orders. As we’re leaving, the owner see’s us leaving and asked us what we were doing. I mentioned we were leaving. He then insisted that we pay for the food that hasn’t even began being prepared. After arguing back and forth, he then begs “just give me 10$, leave me bad review but you got to give me something”.
It was so pathetic that I handed him a 20$ instead and wished him good luck.
Food was good, could offer a little bigger portion in my opinion, service was so so, never was asked if we wanted another bottle of water, as we had finished ours before the mains came out, bruschetta was only 4 small pieces and when it came time to paying, I didn't leave a tip then was asked how the service was and why I didn't tip... felt very uncomfortable and was not happy with the fact he questioned that when its an OPTION to but also the fact he expected it.

I came here for a quick meal, I got an aperol spritz and the rose pasta and they were both delicious. The older man (looked like the owner) was so lovely and very helpful! He gave me one of their super cool looking water glasses! I will definitely be returning here!
