Coffee was balanced, with a dense mouth feel, straightforward and very classical. Well executed. However, the lack of more and more complex options (sometimes they have two offerings but not when I visited) does not make them qualify as specialty in my opinion. Also, when I visited they were offering a Brazilian coffee roasted in Berlin... Tbh It is already bad enough the unavaodable: to have coffee traveling once around the world. Doing a double loop sounds a little bit too much.

I've been to this place more than once because i do like the coffee they serve but everytime i've went, the barista never aknowledged me upon arrival, i waited 15-20 minutes to even order. I understand patience is required if the place is packed but there were 2 baristas. One of them was fulfilling orders as unbothered and slowly as possible, the other was cleaning and walking around while a line of 10 people were cramming themselves at the door. It was just ridiculous and rude, the atmosphere felt pretentious.

The coffee and barista are amazing. The decor and the green benches are classy, the atmosphere is perfect. I think we would go back more often if there were more employees behind the counter.

I found this cafe by chance after a run. From the outside it didn't seem very promising but, once I entered, I was extremely surprised. Warm service from connoisseurs and coffee to dream of. I highly recommend!

The coffee here can do a lot. The beans from Sey and The Barn are of the highest quality and make a stop here very worthwhile.
The layout of the café (sitting area/service area) is not my thing, but that's a matter of opinion. The service was top and the atmosphere was very relaxed.

Clearly the best cafe in town. Such passion and knowledge of coffee! I never drank coffee. And since trying theirs and Sebastian’s expertise, I’m converted. And, it feels communal, like a little trip to South America, which is a wonderful extra ?

Excellent coffee and amazing vibes. The gentleman running the shop spoke three languages and made his guests feel very at home. Run don’t walk!

One of the best speciality coffee in town. The coffee was super good. The cafe is small but decorated beautifully. Not much choices for the pastry.

I drank a glass of amazing American style. It was not completely bitter, but had a little acidity, and I could taste its flavor. Officially one of my favorite stores in Montreal.
The service staff are warm and friendly, and their movements are neat. Even if there is an endless stream of people, they still keep smiling. I will definitely visit again in the future.
