Ordered lamb steaks (borrejo) and asked for it to be well done, small sized salad and a small baked potato plate. The meat tasted nice and the potato was mouth watering as it’s perfectly marinated and melts in the mouth. Their roasted chicken looks a big deal, but I haven’t tried it yet. The seats aren’t that comfy, the countertop is a bar style. The owner lady and the cashier are sweet and courteous. I recommend this place

Just made peace treaties with my hunger by ordering not one, not two, but THREE types of Portuguese sandwiches: chicken, roasted pork, and chouriço—all on Portuguese bread slathered in homemade spicy sauce. I threw in some roasted potatoes and homemade fries for good measure. Because, why not turn lunch into a carb festival? ??? While walking around the neighborhood around lunch time we smelled delicious chicken from Rotisserie Coco Rico. We had to stop in! The two of us each got a chicken sandwich with pickles (one mild, one spicy with banana peppers), split an order of potatoes and each got one nata. The sandwiches were made with freshly made bread that was substantial enough to support the chicken but not too tough. The chicken was flavorful without being too greasy. The pickles were sharp and crisp and the pepper added flavor without being overly spicy. The side potatoes had a creamy texture with loads of flavor but not overly salty. The best part of the meal was the nata! They make the flakey crust and creamy center daily and have an optional dusting of cinnamon. After finishing our meal we got more to go.This was a nice quick stop in with bar seating available. I could see it being difficult to find a spot to sit if it's overly busy. The "spicy" sauce wasn't very spicy, but it was very tasty.
The owner is adorable and we were able to enjoy a (very generous) portion of Portuguese poutine. I will return there during my next stay in Montreal!

Chicken quality was good: juicy, full of Portuguese flavour. The chicken sandwhich was lacking a little bit of acidity, but I’m guessing it’s not traditional to add pickles or onions. The sauce was also pretty flavourful. Very good place!

The chicken was dry no sauce not spicy the potatoes were bad the salad i cant even tell what it was. This is my 1st time eating from there and the last time. I order food at least 4 times a week and i loveeeee the food in this city , This is my first review ever about food i usually dnt care but this was non eatable and the worst part is when i called the restaurant to tell them how disappointed i was with my first try they said we just sent 10 orders and no one complained!! Our chicken is not dry … and proceeeded to tell me how basically i am wrong ::(

(Family combo ordered on UberEats)Maybe it's usually good, but unfortunately that wasn't the case for us. The "Portuguese" chicken tasted like regular roast chicken, no spices. The sauce only tasted like oil even after stirring it well. The extras... are "correct", nothing more. It's sad to say but it's as if we had ordered the combo from IGA or Métro, but more expensive for the same quality.
