Late review. We went a few months ago and the poutine was extraordinary! I remember the service being kind overall, however, they tried to switch to English when I was practicing my French with them, even though there was not a lot of people in the place that could explain that behaviour justified in a rush of communication. One thing as a tourist that make you enjoy the place is the willingness to try to share your culture, providing a good experience.

Had a bad experience tonight.
Came in with our 3 children. Never came to clean our table, did not bring our menus or offer us drinks. We left after 15 min of waiting because no one came to us. It's a shame because we were looking forward to eat in the old port on their nice terrasse.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a few years now, usually about three times a year to celebrate something or just have a good time. I used to love this place. I recommended it to friends and family all the time, even brought visitors from out of town here. The pizzas were great, the service solid, and the beer always hit the spot.
But today… wow, what a disappointment.
The menu looks and feels cheap now: plastic, dull, like a random diner. They got rid of the XL pizzas and now only have one tiny size. The drinks? The kind you’d find at any cheap bar on a Tuesday night.
We decided to stay and give it a shot anyway. Big mistake. We ordered a $27 pizza with shrimp and pesto. Absolutely terrible. Oily, flavorless, with tiny shrimp that looked like they came from a frozen bag. Honestly, a supermarket frozen pizza would’ve been better.
Then came the drinks… I ordered a Leaf Me Alone, and it smelled like bathroom cleaner. Couldn’t taste any gin, just a watered-down, chemical-flavored juice. My partner had a La Vie en Rose, which was supposed to have raspberry purée; instead, it was some cheap syrup.
We sent the drinks back and asked for a beer instead (which, by the way, was the only decent thing). But surprise, surprise… They still charged us for the awful cocktails we didn’t drink. When I told the waitress they were terrible and untouched, she brought another server who said they “couldn’t remove them from the system.” How convenient.
So yeah, I ended up paying over $60 for a bad pizza and two undrinkable cocktails. What a joke.
This used to be one of my favorite spots in the city, but clearly those days are gone.
Never coming back.

What a disappointment. This place used to be good, the pizzas were amazing and the drinks actually had flavor and character. Now everything has gone downhill. The pizzas taste like something from a cheap chain, the drinks are basically juice. The new menu sheet is a cheap ugly plastic, the cutlery is uneven and feels cheap low quality . I don’t know why they ruined a place that used to be so good.

food was good BUT they added their own tip amount before passing me the final price so i had no option to choose a tip!!! very deceptive practice why did they do this???!!! i had to request the bill they did not offer bc clearly they didn’t want to get caught out! i won’t go back because this is dishonest and i would have tipped had i been given the opportunity

Today September 29 end of season,
I decided to try this restaurant because its menu caught my eye. I was coming back from a meeting and really wanted a burger!
On arrival, I was greeted by several smiling and polite employees. The place is clean, and I loved the atmosphere, especially the 1980s music!
The food was served hot and freshly prepared. The fries were well-cooked and crispy, just how I like them!
I also had a Baileys Latte and was personally one of the best I've had!
I recommend this place 10/10 to everyone!

Really nice, quality service. I enjoyed the smoked meat pizza—it was much better than the sandwich I had at Swartz itself—with great, tasty mozzarella.
The atmosphere was mediocre, but we did visit at 3pm, so that may explain it.
What side apartment was the great, friendly service.
