No hipe, just great ice cream
Staff is very welcoming and nice, polite. Older style and cute atmosphere. Lot of choices. Nice to enjoy at the park few meters away or on the benches outside in front of the store.
Delicious!, yummy, awesome!
Best soft ice cream place so far in Montreal for us! Plus the employees are just so nice!

At Claire de la Lune
Night had fallen a long time ago. The discovery of the magnificent Bangluck street food had put my mother in a pleasant mood and the desire to continue the evening took hold.
“Maybe we could go to a café for some pastries? »
“A coffee at this time? There must not be many pastries left to eat.”
So, like an explorer, I deployed my big Google map to check what was around.
“How about some ice cream? There is Bo-Bec not far away. »
My mother was a little reluctant at first, we got into the car and headed home, but eventually a more powerful desire to linger a little longer manifested itself. After all, the air was perfectly balmy and we had all the time in the world.
“Let’s go eat ice cream.”
It was, in retrospect, the best decision we could have made at that time.
In fact, I don't think I've ever enjoyed ice cream so much in my life! And understand that I am not a subscriber to hyperbolic turns of phrase. Not only was the ice cream deliciously smooth, in no way crystallized, but the flavors were rich and balanced. I delighted in the “ferrero” and “pistachio” combination while my mother preferred her “cookie dough” and “cappuccino”.
But, it doesn't stop there. The floating glow of the Bo-Bec sign which pierced the darkness gave a magical touch to the place and accentuated my happiness. The antique-decorated interior with its old menu with its outdated presentation and its children's drawings on the door of the employee room gave it a touch of authenticity.
The refrain of the experienced employee, who continued to serve customers with a smile
" THANKS ! Good evening ! »
resonated softly, completing the picturesque portrait enjoyed by my five senses.
There was no unnecessary noise, no person to pull me out of my reverie. The darkness veiled the superfluous from my eyes and all that remained was me, my mother, the ice cream and the Bo-Bec lighthouse.
So, perhaps the secret to enjoying its homemade ice cream is to go there on a fall evening, while the city is dozing in the moonlight.
(Count around $7.50 for two balls and a cone)
Vegetarian options: The latest news is that ice cream is not a carnivorous dish.
Parking: If you can't find anything on Laurier, you may have better luck on the perpendicular streets.
Kid-friendliness: Yes! Children will love their frozen treats.
Wheelchair accessibility: No... Unfortunately.

Delicious ice creams! Coconut is my favorite flavor. Sit outside at the benches and appreciate life happening in the Laurier avenue.
