Best food in mtl
Best asian restaurant I tested so far in Montréal. Authentic flavors.
Great food, good sized portions, attentive service
This place is a 10/10. One the very best in Montreal.
- Affordable
- Delicious (especially their veggies)
- Fast and good service
- Nice owners
We go there at least once a week.
One of the best Chinese resto around
Very good and flavourful food.
An absolute hidden gem. Authentic Chinese food for a very affordable price. The fried pork (guo bao rou) was so good we went back two days in a row. A crispy coating with maybe some glutenous rice mixed in so it had a mochi texture to it. Highly recommend.
We also got the Sichuan spicy pot which had a lot of yummy goodies mixed in. Great dish to get a variety of food (broccoli, tofu, crab sticks, spam, calamari etc). We also got the stir fried green beans, and the stir fried cabbage. Both were super yummy.
The braised pork belly with sweet potsto noodles was also great. Lots of meat for the price. So much meat that we actually wish we had more noodles. The cumin beef was yummy but a bit salty. Rice was also really cheap (1.5$ for a bowl).
Only comment is that the salt level of the dishes seem to be inconsistent. Some dishes were a bit salty, but some were fine.
The service was also great. Super friendly and fast. Would like to return to try other dishes.
I went to check out this place and loved it! I got the braised beef with glass noodles and a side of rice. It was definitely the highlight meal of my day and would recommend checking out this spot at the heart of downtown.
My friend and I went twice within 4 days. I would go back to this restaurant every time I'm in town!
The dishes were $5-7 cheaper than other restaurants per dish and authentic and delicious.
The guo bao rou (fried pork) is to die for! Usually I don't like northern Chinese food as much but the guo bao rou is something I would always dream about. The coating is crispy on the outside yet has this mochi texture inside. The sauce is a perfect balance of sweet and sour. 1000/10!!
The pork belly with noodles was also delicious! Flavourful and full of meat!
The other dishes like ma la xiang guo, green beans, cabbage etc were too salty.
The restaurant was cute and the service was nice.
Huge portions and all very tasty. Tender perfectly cooked meat seafood and veggies served with noodle or rice. And the fried ice cream for desert was a really tasty treat.

This is the perfect place to go if you are confused about what to order and want a visual aid. Very helpful and honest descriptions.
The food was great and the service was friendly! The dishes were bigger than anticipated, so we ended up with too much food, but it was all excellent. Do read the comments in the online menu! They're funny and helpful if you're unfamiliar with the dishes.
I ordered take out for the first time yesterday. The food was amazing. I carried this from metro Guy Concordia to metro Papineau and it was still hot and great tasting when I arrived home, I can't imagine how good it would have been had I eaten it at the restaurant. The food was perfectly packed and easy to carry. Preparation was quick and service very friendly. I can't say enough positive things about this restaurant. Generous portions too!
Owner is very friendly and you can tell he loves and cares for his business. Had a great experience here. Highly recommend the General Tao Chicken.
Great food with great prices. Fast service too. Highly recommended.
