One of the best restaurants if not the best restaurant I have eaten at in the city center. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo of my dish due to lack of time, it was so good.A General Tao chicken as we like it, very filling. The portion they offer you won't find anywhere else.I tried the extra vegetables but it will be the last time because I had enough on my plate as far as chicken ? and rice ?

Always a real pleasure to eat at Cocodak, the employees are super awesome! Respectful and adorable! The atmosphere is great, the music isn't too loud like in some other restaurants, so it's perfect for coming with friends and just talking over a meal!Big plus to the soju flavors and their cocktail, super good!!I tried almost everything on the menu, you can easily find something for everyone, even if you're vegan! They actually have a tofu starter, super good!! Otherwise they have 2 dishes that can be veganized if you remove the egg on top!Their chickens, delicious, I really recommend trying them at least once!Otherwise in terms of location, the toilets are super well maintained! Really no distaste for going there! The place is super cozy and we are very well received at all times!

Cocodak is a place that has been on my list for a very long time and I'm sad to say,I was disappointed with my experience there. As an appetizer,we received a spicy cabbage salad and some radish...neither were enjoyable,it didn't feel like much effort was put into the appetizer. My second appetizer was some Sweet and Spicy Boneless chicken, which was also underwhelming, the inside of the chicken felt dry and overcooked, but as a consolation,I did enjoy the crispiness of the outside. My entree was Spicy Small Octopus With Rice, the flavouring that they added i the stir fry was delicious, but the baby octopus itself was rubbery and took a long time to chew.2/5The service we received was just okay. The staff catered to us when needed.3/5My experience at the restaurant wasn't very pleasant. For one,we were seated right near the door and each and every time someone opened the door, this rush of cold wind would brush against my legs and back.We then requested to move to a different table, this time the table was near the window and although the view of the snow falling on St Catherine was beautiful, our mesmerization wouldn't last long as the windows let cold air seep in again. Not to mention, the seating areas felt a little cramped,it's as if we were sitting at one table with other people.1/5

I can't believe I found a good soondaeguk (blood sausage soup) in Montreal. It still lacks in a few components but it is by far the best one i have had in Montreal. And it is very filling. They even provide refillable side-dishes (kimchi and pasta salad).I will definitely come back with my fellow soup lover to delight in more delicious soondaeguk.

Taste is good but the portion is borderline theft as you are paying 20 dollars for a pot of food smaller than the size of my hand...

This place deserves 4stars. Food is amazing all the time, the service is speedy and well thought out. However, the I must admit that the tables are way too small, this becomes a major inconvenience especially when a larger group comes about to enjoy themselves. Taste of food compensates for nearly everything.

This is a criminally underrated restaurant. Why did I say that? Because I few days ago, I was having a first date with someone and she recommended me this place to eat with. The moment I came to this restaurant and see the menu, my month is so watering that I can't pick which food should I take. So I picked this sweet/spicy fried chicked while my date picked a "odon-like" sea food option. I tried it (which we share), and it was month-watering fireworks. In other words- same saids to those fried chicken- it was delicious. All of it. The waiters, very nice and polite.I seriously recommend this place. If it ain't for my date, I wouldn't know this place. And I want to thank her for an awesome date. And thank you to the staff as well. ?
