It has the charm of a railway station concourse, but the breakfast was fine. It's a bit tricky to find.

The pictures of their food lie. Maybe this was once a good place to eat but now it's bad food court food served in paper take away containers. Be warned.

Firstly, to find this place you need to take the escalator down two floors to the food court, it's not obvious where it is but it's worth it.
I ordered poached eggs and sausage (which come with potatoes) and an Americano.
The food was cooked well, was tasty and the sausage came with a really nice side sauce. The employee who served me was friendly and helpful as I speak very little french, but this obviously served the workers in this building so was pretty quiet at 11am.
The food also is really cheap in comparison to other cafes/restaurants in the area so I was able to tip really well and still have an affordable meal.

We had breakfast here on our weekend trip in Montreal. The food was great, portion were very generous and the service was amazing, Chaima served us, she was helpful and very respectful. It was my second time at Déjeunette, I was there last winter, when I was looking for a something to eat and I stumbled upon this restaurant and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely recommend it, if you’re in the downtown area, it’s definitely worth it.

Horrible service, the girl had the worst attitude, I’ve just ordered and saw that there were bagels, like and those same exact five seconds after paying. I do understand that it’s a hassle when costumers change their order, but it was in the exact minute after paying so a change was possible without any further problem. She got an attitude, said that it was impossible because it was already done. To which I found very stupid cause I have just paid! She started changing from English to French to make everything more complicated, then when I didn’t accept that cause it was clearly a lie, plus all that attitude, she said she would change the command, but that she would give me back in cash the money. She even raised her voice at me saying that she didn’t understand what she did wrong ??? And finally the last coins she practically threw them in my hand with a very loud HAVE A GOOD DAY. I’m glad I asked for a refund since anything from there would cause me stomach ache cause of her attitude and rudeness. I never said this in any of my around 70 reviews or more, but this has to be the worst place/ service that I ever had in Montreal. Ever.

Cafeteria style restaurant. I had a croissant with egg, bacon and cheese. It was very good and reasonably priced.

Fast food breakfast. It’s okay but the raving reviews seem exaggerated.

Very good service for a food court diner. Go down 2 escalators to C2 level. Very good cappuccino and a rather good 2 eggs w 2 types of meat. Not great but good.

Food was delicious. We both had vegetable omelets with cheese added—meal included fresh potatoes, choice of toast, coffee or choice of teas). Service was accommodating, quick and friendly. Cost was was less than half the price that our hotel was charging. Can do either take out or eat in. Restaurant is in food court—we were there at 8:00AM and it was the only restaurant open. The food court is underground in a nice building and the eating area is clean. There was an upright piano in the courtyard—I am not sure if you are allowed to play it. The food was good for any price—and I give the restaurant my highest recommendation.
