Aside from the sandwiches the service was embarrassing to say the least. As new customers we walked in and were not greeted, all the staff was more preoccupied by their personal cellphones. No one offered to help or explain the menu - poor mannered staff. The food was okay nothing out of the ordinary , would not

Earthy brick wall, grilled windows, discreet sign hanging from a metal bar; the anonymous features of the convenience store Le Pick Up conceal an oasis where the traveler comes to satisfy his hunger and, I would even say, to make his stomach happy. Its beauty is jealously guarded from prying eyes, even once at the gates of the gîte. You have to pull aside a fabric curtain to finally see a colorful microcosm teeming with life. The surprise effect is surely deliberate and stimulates the appetite. The restaurant's short paper menu, spotted with oil, soberly presents the dishes prepared behind the counter. In accordance with my principles, I take advice on the best way to create the tastiest feast for my friend and me. Communication is a little laborious at first due to the noise and my lips being numbed by the wind, eventually stabilizing. We agree on the menu: a pulled pork sandwich, a grilled haloum sandwich, a “Le Pick Up” burger, a large bowl of potatoes and a small “Perfect Green Salad”.A salad in a burger joint? Yes sir ! And bursting with flavor, to boot! I would have happily had another portion. The potatoes, tender and wisely seasoned, also accompanied the meal perfectly. I really enjoyed the grilled haloum and pulled pork sandwich with “mmm, mmm, mmm”, and the hamburger wasn’t bad either. Two giant pink combs, arranged in a mirror, constitute the distinctive decorative mark of the place. Their function is to… get people talking! And sell kids. If you are a fervent fan of your sandwiches at the Dépanneur, you could leave with a black gamble — identical to the waiter's — enhanced with two pairs of white combs. For what ? Once again, mainly to get people talking, or to show that you have very good taste in sandwiches.Vegetarian options: For burgers, possibility of replacing the meat with “impossible”. Very popular veggie pulled pork sandwichParking: Some places nearbyKid-friendliness: A coffee table at the back can easily accommodate childrenWheelchair accessibility: A step to take. The problem is also the narrowness.

Small, cute, not that many seats indoors but rotation is fast enough. In warmer months you can sit outside as well. Good food, cute vibe, it's not quite a dép though there are some snacks and drinks you can buy. This is a known resto in the area. Fancier take on deli vibe, some interesting options and flavors. Sitting by the counter is fun to watch them cook. It's non stop during peak hours. The popular items are: Cuban sandwich, Veg Cuban, vege pulled porkThe person taking the orders must have been new because that was a little slow and I had to repeat my order and then realized he forgot to give me my cookie so just be mindful of that to make sure your order was properly taken down.

I got the cuban sandwich and it was really delicious, however with tax and tip it came down to 20$ for one sandwich without a drink or side. I wish the prices were a little bit lower. Otherwise i would have gave 5 ⭐️
