I can't give a high rating but seriously it's still the best thing when arriving at the central station by train if you're in transit and avoiding the damn disgusting fast food chains. High prices for what it is but at least you get fresher food cooked on site. Salad bar. Overall friendly staff.

OK so I went in here with low expectations (having seen the hilariously-bad reviews); I found it to be fine.

They don't have their hours posted anywhere but I was told it's until 18h30.

It feels like someplace from a bygone era. A comfy, cozy 90's/2000's vibe with bland food offerings. The sandwiches/salads (or whatever's pre-made) look cursed, but they have a big menu of safe choices.

It's worth trying as opposed to the nearby McDonald's, I'll probably go again.

Asked the man behind the counter for a napkin because I spilled my drink on my phone and he looked at me like it was a ridiculous request and said not without paying for something first. Never been so insulted by something so menial. Went next door and instantly was given a napkin, like a normal person. Can see why this place has overwhelmingly negative reviews.

Can’t believe someone decided it was a good idea to make a chicken sandwich without any kind of sauce! It was completely dry and tasteless. I don’t recommend.

Staff is despicable. Dropped my coffee in the train station all over me. Ran to politely ask if they could give me 1 paper towel to help out as I had coffee all over my hand and they refused by saying “no it’s not for free”.
That is such a cheap move and it lacks total empathy.

Not everything is about business and a paper towel costs a few cents. A person gave me a tissue in the end and didn’t ask for money. You’re definitely never getting my business again and I use that train station several times a month. Hope you’ll make good use of this 3cent you saved - Im sure you’ll need it. ;)

The lady in the kitchen is really rude. I ordered maple pancakes. Well, it wasn't pancakes.... And the maple has to be paid extra! The lady didn't tell me that there were trays, I burned myself with the plate, which I dropped. And the lady was immediately aggressive, repeating to me that it was my fault because I did not take a tray (which are not located at the level where we take the food) and that he had to pay for that, almost shouting at me. So in the end I paid almost $30 for 3 pancakes and maple syrup. First and last time here, "lesson learned"!

Edit: as I indicated, I had not been informed that there were trays, which are not located where we receive the plates (part of the restaurant was closed this morning so perhaps that there are in fact "trays everywhere in the restaurant" usually but this morning I only saw a pile on a table against the side window), and I don't see how I could have known that the were the plates going to be made of cardboard? In fact I had suitcases, your establishment being located... In a train station. And $24.23 + tax = almost $30 indeed yes ?? it is reasonable to expect that maple syrup is included in the "maple syrup pancakes" (name on the menu). It is in fact written on the menu that you have to pay for "extra maple syrup", which suggests that you have to pay for more maple syrup than what would be included. It is also not stated that maple syrup is not included in “maple syrup pancakes”.

Brought 2 bags of bagels, since there was no expiry date, I asked the staff. He indicated there was no problems to store at room temperature for 2-3days, he avoided answering my concern. When got home, there was mold on the bagels. Will never go back again.

The fish'n'chips were great but took quite a while to make.

Had breakfast here with a friend before she boarded her train. They didn’t have the food pre-made they made it once you placed an order. So it was fresh. Decent & okay. Not high quality but okay, & much better than Mac Donald’s.

Got a very overpriced sandwich for the train ride and once I got to the train I noticed it was incredibly moldy.

The lady that works the grill in the back is very rude. You try and say what you’d like and she talks over you without even looking at you. Feels like you have inconvenienced her by ordering. You say thank you no reply just turns around and walks away. Another lady came after me and it was the same issue. Both of us looked at each other confused. I ordered the breakfast club and got an end piece of the loaf ? the sandwich is 11.49 and you give out end pieces. I shall never return

**edit to reply to owner. I made a typo the sandwich was 11.49 and that is the reduced price as i did not want the side potatoes. I have a receipt to prove this. Also as a french speaking Quebecor I have no issues speaking to the lady in french. The lady after me was a tourist , perhaps just about to get on the train. As a restaurant in Central Station just opposite of the trains where tons of tourist (non french speaking people) come in to grab something quick its quite rude to comment the official language here is French rather then address the actual issue. The lady is rude plain and simple.

Do yourself a favor and go to McDonald’s because you will find the worst service in MTL at this restaurant. What an attitude we got from the lady serving our breakfast.

The woman taking orders at the grill was incredibly rude. We had a language miscommunication - I asked “can I do the vegetable omelette?” And she took that as “deux vegetable omelette.” I tried to clear up multiple times throughout the order that I was only ordering ONE vegetable omelette with toast and potatoes, but at the end she tried to hand me two omelettes. I told her politely that I’m sorry, but I only ordered ONE omelette. She proceeded to tell me I ordered two, that the mistake was mine, and that she had repeated my order back to me several times (in response to each I had said I want only ONE). She was incredibly rude, asking “well what am I supposed to do with this second omelette?” When I said “I don’t know,” she said “you don’t know what you ordered?” And rolled her eyes at me, even though I was clearly responding to her rhetorical question. The original issue here was clearly a miscommunication while ordering, and that’s fine. It would have been fine if she had just said “oh, sorry” and not yelled at me. I am not responsible for her misunderstanding and it is not acceptable for her to yell at a customer the way she did. I’m shocked.

Additionally, the food isn’t even worth it. I should have checked reviews before ordering. The omelette was bland, and the potatoes were too salty.
