Amazing experience! We celebrated my dad's 60th birthday here and the food was amazing - the chef Simar was so kind and gave us recommendations based on our tastes, things to do in Montreal, and took the time to get to know us! All the food was delicious - we had the most wonderful time and will be coming back again when we visit Montreal.
We dined at Darbar on Sunday evening and had a truly memorable experience. The chef personally introduced himself, walked us through the menu with recommendations, and even took our order before preparing it — a thoughtful touch that made the evening feel special. The food was outstanding, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the chef returned during our meal to ensure everything was perfect. Truly such a pleasure and wonderful experience eating at Darbar with my family. Having grown up in the GTA, I’ve had great Punjabi food but this place is exceptional. Chef Simar and his staff are so warm and welcoming. The food itself is incredible, you can taste the authentic technique and use of fresh ingredients in all the dishes. We will be back again for sure.
