One the best place to spend a Saturday! I was there last weekend, the service was great and food was excellent!

Tried coming here, two days in a row while visiting in Montreal and both times I was denied service and had my order cancelled well before their posted closing time. Can't really comment on the food since I was never given the chance to receive it. Disappointed.

Amazing service and delicious meal. I had the goat cheese salad and grilled chicken. Thank you Tasso, Tulu, and Melissa for a great evening and comedy show.

What a way to chance a good restaurant! Try to blend in!!! I used to go there 5 years ago ! Now the theme is vaguely there. Food was ok. Not enough costumer to justify the service

I will not eat here again.
As a routine, I grab my train on Thursdays and 1.
I arrive at the station 1 hour prior to have a light bite before my trip.
As a light meal, I chose an item off the kids menu (grilled cheese sandwich and fries) only to be told that the kids menu, is ONLY for kids and as such, is not available to adults.
Really? Is this to force a larger cash grab from the patron or are light lunches not permitted at Deli Planet?
So sad, good food, horrible service!

Stopped in at Deli Planet just after 1 p.m. and was pleasantly surprised by how quiet and relaxing it was, even inside Montreal Central Station. I was seated in a cozy area where other diners were enjoying their meals, and the hustle from busy travellers didn’t affect my experience at all.

The food was delicious and the portions were huge and tasty. I couldn’t eat it all in one sitting! I had soup, a Montreal smoked meat sandwich piled high with meat, fries, coleslaw, and red velvet cake for dessert. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.

Tulu, my server, was very attentive and kind to this weary traveller. His warm service made the meal even more enjoyable.

I also took lots of photos of the fun décor — the “Wanted” characters on the walls, old typewriters, and newspapers add such personality to the place. A great spot right inside Montreal Central Station — hearty food, friendly service, and a calm break from the journey.

I’ve been ordering takeout from this place once a week for a while, but after my most recent order, I’m done. I ordered a club sandwich with a salad, and the salad they packed was completely brown — clearly old and not something that should have been served to anyone. On top of that, the bread on the sandwich was very tough and hard to eat. I’m not sure why anyone thought this meal was acceptable to send out. Really disappointed after being a consistent customer.

How are you going to have a gorgeous place like this in Montreal and serve poutine with shredded cheese. SHAME! SHAME!
