As soon as I sat down with my order and wanted to look at something on my laptop, a guy showed up and told me that laptops were forbidden. In addition, while I put back my laptop in the bag, he immediately proposed to give me a paper cup so that I could leave. This is surely the last time I will go there.

Shitty music average drinks and stupid rules about limited wifi and no laptops. Avoid this place if you are looking to feel comfortable

Le Petit Dep is a cute little coffee shop in the heart of old town Montreal and right next to Notre Dame. Popped in to grab a warm drink since it was so cold outside. They had a good selection of vegan and gluten free pastries, but nothing really piqued my interest. Was a bit pricey, but understandably so since it's in one of the most touristy parts of town.

Very expensive but I'm happy to see that they encourage local products.

The espressos, cortados and lattes are very good and reasonably priced.

The sandwiches are very expensive for the value for money (it's good but expensive for what it is)

There are a bit of a tourist trap.

No need to say “Hello-Hi!” English speakers, even those from Kentucky, understand what "Hello" means...then if they want to be served in English, of course the employees can do it and very well.

SUCH GOOD PASTRIES!! The almond mocha croissant is a MUST TRY. Strawberry milkshake was the perfect ratio of sweet and creamy

I was really disappointed with the croissant—it had the same quality you'd expect from a supermarket. Instead of the light, flaky texture you’d expect, it was overly salty, completely overpowering any buttery flavor. Definitely not worth trying again.

Pastries look fantastic but are mostly flavorless. Stick with their coffee.
