Been here several times before and has always been great. This particular
Monday night I guess the chef had an off night. Everyone's food was subpar except for 2 salads. Burgers and fries were cold and tasteless, the prime rib au jus came with a bland cold gravy, not the au jus that was on the menu. The waiter offered to change the fries and we took him up on it. Very surprising for this place as otherwise is usually very good.

We came in as students and were on a budget, but we still left a tip for the server. The food was enjoyable and the atmosphere was nice. At first, the server was very friendly and attentive, which we appreciated, but partway through our visit their attitude noticeably changed, and basic politeness seemed to fade. On top of that, we didn’t receive water until the very end, which made the experience feel even more inconsistent. We understand that service jobs are challenging and tipping culture can be complicated, but overall we wanted to share that while the food met our expectations, the service could have been more consistently professional.

Fun and trendy place that is probably a bit busy and loud if you're out with kids. We had the ahi tuna tacos, Mac and cheese wontons, and the hangar steak salad. All were a pretty substantial portion and very tasty. Service was quick and attentive. Restaurant was full of wealthy couples and groups dressed for the club, so we did feel a little out of place with kids at Saturday dinnertime but there were a few other kids in the whole restaurant. Notably, the clientele was significantly more diverse than Montreal or even downtown Montreal on general. I would recommend against this place for families but FOR it for people in their 20s-40s to start a night out in downtown.

We were on a trip from Maine and had a whole list of restaurants we were excited to try! After enjoying dinner on November 14th, we couldn’t resist coming back the next night—and later that same night, we swung by again to grab some monkey bread to go! Haha!
Honestly, this place blew me away! The food, the drinks, and the service were all absolutely fantastic. I'm so glad I'm a bit far away from that tempting monkey bread, but I’m counting down the days until I can come back!
Thank you all for the amazing experience! You really are the best!

As we are downtown, English service is predominant. But no trouble getting service in French. Food was good, service was good. I went for lunch on a Sunday so it was not too busy.

Sam on the mezzanine Saturday night was amazing ! Beautiful smile, super polite and attentive, even after I miscalculated his tip and gave him less then he deserved, he kept smiling and wish us a great night. Food and cocktail were awesome. We will be back to make the gratuity right ! Sorry Sam xx you were the best !!

Absolutely loved this place, staff was stellar, the chef came out and chatted a bit. The fork and knife Caesar salad was incredible, I've come back home and it's the main thing that stuck out to me. No idea how a salad struck me so well, but it was amazing.
I had a steak sandwich too, just to try, wasn't my favorite, but I don't think I like steak sandwiches, I was just trying something new. The bread was amazing though and freshly made. The drinks were also very good, and the bar tender was very friendly.
Unlike much of Montreal the music wasn't exploding my eardrums and it was a nice comfy spot. Does close a little early, but highlight recommend if you're looking for a bite!

Really wanted to have local oysters again so we decided to go to this place for brunch. Ordered half a dozen of oysters, a lobster Benny and beef ribs. All tastes amazing especially the lobster Benny (49$) and beef ribs. You can tell they put a lot of effort in making them tasty and beautiful. This puts a beautiful full stop to our trip.

Once again, as always, everyone at Deville made me feel at home! Our meat was cooked to perfection and everything was delicious. Mention to the new bar tender and grateful for his agility and making a custom Appletini ;)High 5 to Samuel, on if the best waiter and one the OG in the Team.Thank you all for this one more dinner night out experience at one of my Montreal’s favorite! See you soon!
