Food was served quick and warm.
The only problem is this must be one of the dirtiest restaurants that I’ve visited in a long time.
What a shame.

October 3 2024 is the day I visited.
Please take a look at your ceiling vents in and around the kitchen, the bathroom doors are beyond filthy, the table and chairs are stained with food from previous patrons….and only because you asked, I could go on and on. This is constructive criticism strictly for your benefit and not mine.

Omg, first and last time at Dic Ann’s
On the way in, I saw a B&W photo of the OG Dic Ann resto… told myself this must be a great place with lots of history.

Quite funny, lived in Mtl for almost 40yrs and never thought about trying until today. Since I was in Marché Central and haven’t ate lunch yet… I was hungry. Gave it a shot for the 1st time…

The menu was simple, no photos of the burgers anywhere. And when the orders in front of me were ready, they were all hidden in a bag and box.

When I got my order, opened it and it was the slimmest flat Joe patty with the thinnest burger bun on this planet. The fries were well fried but many at the bottom were over fried.

Overall experience, not what I expected. It won’t be a 2nd time. Showed it to my wife and she laughed at it.

Still fun experience for $9

The food is McDonald's quality and a little bit more expensive. Service was good and I liked the packaging. The sauce is great. Quite overrated but I did enjoy it for what it is.

I asked how the Poutine was, said it was good. Fries, ground beef and grated cheese with no gravy does not make a poutine. Expectations should be set when ordering this. "the direction" answered saying it is their recipe. I would counter that calling something a thing, does not make it said thing.?

The best burgers in town! Nothing beats hamburgers smashed on a paper plate covered in spicy sauce. I love you Dic Ann's ❤️

Every once in a while Dic Ann's adds another item to their menu which just makes you want to scratch your head and wonder what were they thinking, but invariably when you try it you realize some of these creations are pretty damn good. Got to love Dic Ann's.

I went to Dic Anns for a poutine.First thing I noticed is how dirty the restaurant was. No clean table in sight.The initial service was cold but they did delivered the food very quickly.The food itself was not apetizing, the sauce was very liquid (they use their signature meat sauce instead of the classical poutine sauce). The sauce made the fries super soggy, the cheese was metled on top into one big chunky mess. Also the cheese was gratted cheese a not the authentic poutine cheese.The only good thing about it is the price to good ratio, if you like the taste you will gave a great value. Otherwise its not worth trying.

I have been a loyal customer of Dic'Anns for over 40 years. Today is my biggest disappointment. I had to return my burger to the counter to replace it with a more cooked one. The taste has changed. The spicy side of the sauce is missing. Sorry, now it's bland. Please give us back the true taste of Dic'Anns and it is with pleasure that I will return there. THANKS.
