I had a reservation on a Friday night, but due to an issue that was not the fault of Marcella, the entire area lost power. The owner personally called to get me into another great restaurant down the street. I went back again on Saturday night and was able to have dinner at the bar. The service, food, drinks and atmosphere were wonderful. I would highly recommend Marcella if you are in the Montreal area!

Fabulous food and atmosphere. Everything was a hit - cocktails, calamari, mozzarella sticks, Milanese chicken, ravioli, pesto and the desserts (tiramisu and cheesecake) were divine. Our lovely server Sandy made celebrating my daughter’s 18th birthday a special occasion. We loved it.

Our dinner at Dinette Marcella will be a meal to remember as we celebrated my niece’s 18th birthday. Everything was perfection! Thank you for a special night. Lack of Basic Hospitality！！
We came here to celebrate our 3rd anniversary and were completely ignored. We waited at the entrance over 10 minutes, and not a single staff member acknowledged us. Even when we stepped inside, no one looked our way or asked if we needed help.
I understand restaurants can be busy, but basic hospitality means at least greeting your guests or letting them know to wait. Being left standing there without any acknowledgment felt rude and disrespectful, and we ended up leaving. A very disappointing experience.

Very nice and busy restaurant. Carbonara was ok, but not really hot when it arrived. Too much bacon in mine, very little bacon in my husband’s pasta. Tasted ok, but not great (bacon kind of bitter). Cheesecake for dessert was wonderful .

Excellent food! Incredibly tasty and well made. Our server was also very attentive and helpful. My only complaint would be portion sizing. The tortelini was really good. Although incredibly flavourful, the Cesar salad for $21 was disappointingly small. $5.75 for decaf coffee is definitely on the pricey side.

The restaurant was charming with an airy feeling. We started our meal with the eggplant Parmesan which was cooked well and had a delicious sauce. For mains, we ordered the pesto pasta and spaghetti carbonara. Both dishes were excellent. Finished off with pistachio cheesecake which I highly recommend. Good service and great evening
