Wanted to spend some quality time on Saturday. It was all good up until we got to the main course which was the Parisian mussels.
They were extremely bitter, everyone tried them at the table. When it was time to pay, we spoke with Marie Eve, the manager, who was very rude. Basically she outright told us that we are in the wrong, that they even « tried » the mussels from our started dish (yeah right) and that they are fine. Also said we shouldn’t have « eaten as much as we did ». We were 3 people, everyone tried like 1-2 mussels to validate that they are indeed bitter and we’re not imagining it.
Clearly they were not fresh and above all, we had a terrible reaction from the manager. After 5 years of going to this place, it’s a shame they should ruin their reputation because of one person’s ill mannered behaviour. Won’t be coming back anymore.
