We were told we had our seats at the bar 4 - 6pm, but as of 5:17 they were trying to get rid of us. It was a disappointing experience. Food was good, not over the moon though, and the staff were nice, albeit a little too eager to keep us moving along.

We went for a late dinner after a show, on a Thursday night. The service was excellent and the food surprisingly great! The room is also beautiful. Finally a place to eat late in Montreal!

food wasnt great, we had a salmon tartare, a burger with fries, and a cesar salad with bacon. im not the complaining type of person but gotta say that the meat was burnt and fries were as salty as it gets, cesar salad had salad leafs (whole) and 2 thick bacon slices (also whole) nothing to say about the taste, it was good, but kinda hard to eat, not sure if its meant to be chopped or not.

What a beautiful gem! Just steps from Dorchester Square, which we visited after our Montréal at Night bus tour, we stopped into Bar Dominion for drinks and a snack. This gorgeous old bar opened in 1927 and has been lovingly maintained in its original style. The food, drinks, and service were excellent. Our waiter, Tim, was incredibly friendly, provided outstanding service, and knew so much about the menu and the bar’s history—even though it was only his second day on the job! Can’t wait to come back!

I came here two weeks ago, sat at the bar and thoroughly LOVED my experience. I loved it so much i promptly booked again. This time I sat on the patio. We ordered rhe sharing platter and a couple of drinks. I kept trying to get our servers attention but she was Mia. I added an order of focaccia to my order that I wanted to eat with the shared appy platter but it never came. An hour later after we were done the platter I asked the busboy taking away our plates for the order and I believe they just put in the order at that time...same thing with the bill. There was no one available. They never came to check on us and I was glad to leave. I get that they could have been busier but it was not a pleasant experience
