The vibes in this bar are *gorgeous*—super aesthetic in a way you genuinely wouldn’t expect from the exterior. I came for a friend’s birthday and it was such a fun spot for a night out.
Cocktail prices are pretty much in line with every other downtown Montreal bar, so you’re not really coming here for a “deal,” but the drinks were **really yummy** and well made.
Food-wise: we ordered the **party platter** and I honestly wouldn’t recommend it. It’s marketed as a mix of smaller appetizers in one platter, but it felt like only 2–3 actual items from the menu, with **a huge portion of the platter being crudités**—and it was **$74**. That said, the sauces/dips that came with it were amazing, especially the **chimichurri**.
The mains helped recover the experience a bit. I had the **burger**—it was a good portion if you want something heavier, but mine was a little dry and kind of cold. Not bad, just not extraordinary. The **fries**, though? Dangerous. Genuinely addictive—best “drunk bar fries” I’ve had in a while.
Service was another standout: the waitress and staff were super hands-on and attentive, which we really appreciated. Overall, the drinks and ambiance were the highlights for me, and I definitely wouldn’t be surprised if I ended up back here again.

We had just finished dinner close by and were looking for a place to have a drink. Looked on google and saw it was dollar oyster night too. We opted to jump in here for drinks and a dozen oyster, cause why not?!
Boy, are we glad we did. Drinks were great and service was even better! Our server was awesome. We started bs-ing with him about where he would suggest us to eat. He had fun with us and even took time to write down a list for us of his favorites, which was awesome. He ended up getting off work and the guy who replaced him was equally as personable.
We almost went back the next night as we enjoyed it there so much.

Great staff
A Lovely brasserie blending vintage glamour with a warm & modern vibe. Nestled in the heart of the city, it invites you in with its golden lights, mirrored accents, and effortless French elegance. The menu is refined yet comforting, and the cocktails are expertly crafted, balanced, and bursting with character. A perfect spot for a chic night out where Montréal meets timeless Paris.

Hormis le niveau sonore particulièrement élevé, sans que ce soit non plus désagréable, nous avons passé une soirée agréable. Nourriture excellente, cocktails extras, service sympathique. On y retournera très bientôt
SUPER nice staff, great drinks, good food and music. Loved it.

The oysters were fresh and served very cold , the way they should be . The tuna tataki was awesome and probably one of the best I've had in a restaurant. The beef tartare was very good , but since my guest ordered it and I tested it after the tuna, I found it ordinary. In other words, don't order them together... The service was good , the wine choices not great , but if you go for cocktails , you won't be disappointed. As the noise level was high . I would definitely recommend for either a 5-7 or place to go before show/dinner, definitely not for a first date or romantic night out together.

The staff are so knowledgeable and gracious. Cocktails and wine by the glass are top quality. The beef tartare is delicious (wonderfully spicy) and quite a large serving. Lobster roll with amazing fries was great too. A perfect pre-concert resto/bar if you are heading to Centre Bell.
We had a wonderful evening at Bar Dominion this week. The establishment was packed when we came in, the Habs were playing in a few hours and people were coming in to have drinks before.
The staff were very efficient, carefully explained the situation and conveniently updated us every few minutes as to when we would get space. Finally they cleared up some standing tables and we ended up being there for a bit. They then offered us to switch to better places once the crowd cleared up.
The bar was very elegant, as was the rest of the restaurant. A classic British-Canadian pub in the heart of Montreal that I would definitely recommend to people if they are in the area. There was a veey good mix of people inside and the bartenders were friendly and gave us unlimited waters without asking.
We had a few beers and called it a night

Thursday night before a Habs game so pretty much full house and quite noisy. Had to ask for someone to come and take order after waiting almost half an hour. Food was nice but would hope so for the price. Very dark and hard to do the whole shared plate thing at two bar seats.
Great drinks at reasonable pricing. Food selection is limited, but good and a little pricy.
Cozy and curated, the perfect spot for delicious shareable plates and incredible cocktails. The staff were so thoughtful and considerate in service, from when you entered to when you left.
