Outstanding food, excellent service, remarkable value. We (two people) shared a table d'hôte and were impressed by the generous portions and how they split the food for us in the kitchen. Highly recommended!

The best in town. Real authentic Portuguese cuisine, the monk fish rice is the best and service is amazing.
I've been coming to this restaurant for decades, and it remains one of the best-kept secrets for authentic Portuguese cuisine. From the moment you step inside, you're welcomed with the same warmth and hospitality that has defined this place for years.
The menu is a perfect mix of traditional favorites and fresh seafood. My personal favorites are the following:
Entre: Mixed tapas and caldo verde soup
Main: The cataplana dish paired with a bottle of Mateus Rose wine.
Dessert: The natas do ceu (cream from heaven) with a bica.
What truly sets this place apart is the consistency. The flavors, the friendly service, and the cozy atmosphere. Whether it’s a quiet dinner or a lively gathering with family and friends, this restaurant always delivers an experience that feels like home.
Decades later, I keep coming back—and I always will.
Great experience! Food is absolutely delicious. If you're looking for authentic Portuguese cuisine, this is the place to go. The service was impeccable as well. The restaurant in itself is very nice too, cozy ambiance and beautiful decor.

Beautiful, intimate and unpretentious little restaurant. The food is always on point. The weekday lunch table d'hôte is perfect for a business meeting. The service is courteous, no matter who your server is. You can find many Portuguese classics there, I’ll let you discover!
