I’m from the neighborhood, so I love to do my rounds of all the great cafes that are at our disposal. I’ve always enjoyed going to Dreamys but was very disappointed with my experience today. Ordered some lattes and an iced coffee. After a very small cup was filled with ice, they added the cold brew which yielded no more than 1oz of liquid. To my surprise I asked if there was a bigger cup and the cashier said no. I felt really gypped. Secondly, after paying, I asked if I can add an iced (slush) and she said no (as in, you’ll have to redo the line)? I mean… are they trying to lose business? I’m with a newborn and toddler and there is no way I’m redoing a line to add a drink. Plus I tipped her, which I regretted instantly.

Love this café. Espresso is consistently well prepared and dialed in, baked goods are solid, and of course you have 10+ roasters to choose from for freshly roasted coffee. My only nitpick would be that I wish the house roaster's beans were available as espresso on rotation. The house blend is good but I've had some mind blowing espresso here and I want more lol.

This establishment is a pleasure to visit; lovely ambience & friendly service The coffee is delicious, made with fresh, quality beans & prep by trained staff which makes all the difference. I received great advice on selecting coffee beans to gift to a friend (which they put in a cute little bag so I didn’t have to wrap it 😁). When you want to treat yourself to great coffee (& pastry), this is the place to go.

we love this place. roasters and also sells coffee from roasters all over the city. great selection of coffee and pastry. well curated cozy warehouse energy. we got the cream and jam plain scone and the croissant pinwheel pastries. the coffee is super flavourful and well roasted and made. come here on the weekend or weekday to work or as a destination on your hot girl walk.
Have visited many times now and the coffee is always great and the pastries are almost as good. Extra fun to browse and get some beans for home, only wished that there could be some more guidance on choosing. Still, my favorite place in Montréal for bean shopping.

Visited Dreamy for the 2nd time this year, from the US. I dare say we have a lot of great roasters where I live. But none of them do what the roasters at Dreamy pull off. Their expression of tastes and aromas is exotic and seemingly unattempted in the countless coffee shops I’ve visited in the US. Check out Colorful’s Lychee-Peachy light roast, Dreamy’s Fall Blend and Traffic’s Milkshake espresso to see what I mean. Plus the bakers really know how to make a southern buttermilk biscuit.

Fantastic coffee! The cortado is one of the best I’ve ever had, and the espresso is great too. Their scones are good too. Plenty of seating, plus it’s right across the street from the canal so getting coffee to go and walking along the canal is also easy.
