The food is good, but not worth the price they're selling them at. Fully price as the first time is okay, but later, I would only get their tgtg bags.
The staff give the right amount of service.
Right under the protective wings of the St-Joseph Oratory, is located Duc the Lorraine. Rather classy and upscale since a couple of years, it is not for the poor immaterialist followers of the saints, but rather for those baring fortune and a celestial chunky wallet. The products at the Duc are of pretty good quality, whether you come in for pastries and espressos, a tasteful breakfast or for dinner along with a fine selection of wines and liquors. Mind you it is obvious the venue...
tl;dr: Go if you can! Entree was delicious (but pricey) but not particularly memorable, early morning service was superb, and atmosphere whisked me away from the bitter cold of Montreal's streets.

If you want pastries, this is a good place to go. I've been to a many of pastry shops and this place delivers on the quality for a savory morning treat with a warm delicious coffee. The entree was quite delicious and consisted of the eggs Benedict and 'country'...
