Best dumplings of mtl - by FAR. every single friend I brought there was shocked by how amazing it is. I miss living in CDN only for this restaurant, I come back whenever I have the chance. My personal fave is the sweet pork, but everything is good always fresh

I have been violently sick last thursday after eating dumplings there. After reading reviews, I see that many people have gone through the same thing. I ordered the pork and cilantro dumplings and I guess the pork was uncooked. It didn't taste weird, but I was sick 2 hours after. To avoid.

Authentic cuisine. The pork, shrimp & coriander soup dumplings are OUT OF THIS WORLD. The best soup dumplings I’ve ever had.

Dumplings were one of the best in Montreal! Shell is thin & classic dumplings are juicy. The sweet & sour soup was too salty though. Overall a fantastic experience, I’d highly recommend! 😋

I wanna start this by saying that the wait time was relatively short. It only took about 10-15 mins for everything to be ready.

I got the 15pc mixed dumplings, and I was pleasantly surprised. Every dumpling tasted great, but I especially enjoyed the pork and shrimp dumplings (you can't beat the texture of shrimp).

I also got the kimchi and miso soup. While the kimchi tasted great (although this was my first time trying kimchi so I don't know if it lives up to any standards), the miso soup was frankly bland. I don't know if I got my bowl from a bad batch, but it tasted as if it was made with a base of water instead of stock. I ended up adding some stock powder to it from my pantry to eat it.
I know miso soup doesn't keep well for long amounts of time but I live about a block away and ate it as soon as the food got home (about 5 mins), so I don't think that's the problem.

This place has officially become our #1 for soup dumplings in Montreal (we though we'd never find a better place than our previous, actually)! We tried the sweet juicy pork and lamb/onion flavours and they were DELICIOUS and HUGE too! We were stuffed after only trying 2 plates (normally we would order 3-4 at others). We will keep coming back and bring all of our friends/family to enjoy our favourite dumpling restaurant in Montreal! Don't hesitate - they're not a chain, so don't let the name make you think otherwise!
