Went in for a late dinner. Had the smoked meat on a bagel. Fantastic choice! Would recommend this spot to anyone

Had my first smoked meat and onion soup here, it's good but just not as stunning as i imagined. (could be that i had a high expectation) Environment and stuff are very comforting.

Smoked meat poutine was decent. Definitely not the best I have had in Montreal. Personally think Schwartz's is better than Dunn's. Strawberry cheesecake was pretty good. The table they sat us at is not suitable for two; it is cramped and too small. Staff was nice.

Food is great, service is great, open until 5am. Best way to avoid a hangover is a 3am Reuben.

My father and I came in to the resto this afternoon . It was a disappointing experience overall. The tall bearded waiter was just abrupt, handed the drinks over the counter , not used to using pleasantries it seems . No smile or any welcome sign as if we genuinely bothered him by getting in . This is the expected customer experience The photos show where the counter is and the distance we had between our table and the next , where he could have simply brought over the drinks If he was having a bad day then he should have taken the rest of his shift off . Customers have no fault in how he feels

The food was exactly what I expected. The place is a bustling deli with speedy service and servers. Everything here is good, but nothing in particular stands out as 'the best' compared to other restaurants. They do have a wide variety of menu items however. I enjoyed my buffalo chicken poutine and while my matzo ball soup tasted good, it came out a little cold! Overall, worth a visit with tasty food and reasonable prices.
