The food was not bad. However, I did not understand how to use terminal machine. The waitress said to me “you forgot miss to tip me. Before I could explain myself, She said to me if you don’t tip in this place, go somewhere else. Although I did give a tip, I asked another waitress and she said karma is not nice. I was so confused, why were they so mean? She said there policy is “you have to tip if you want to eat here.

Near our hotel, we found this place and had breakfast there the next day. The staff, food, and ambiance were excellent, with generous portions and reasonable prices. Free parking too!

We are travelling from Alberta and stopped at this wonderful restaurant 🥰 I’m sorry I didn’t get the lady’s name who served us, but she was wonderful! Very friendly and nice 💗food was delicious and came out quickly. Would 100% recommend

I dont appreciate having mold in my food. We brought it to your waitress’ attention and she grabbed my used napkin and asked me to place the moldy fruit in her hand to “show the chef”. Then we never heard back.

Mistakes happen, but no apology, no replacement, no acknowledgement on the health concerns of cross contamination, and no respect for the other customers when your waitress, Dayna, talks loudly about my boyfriend “causing issues over a blueberry (no mold mentioned, of course)”. You gave a big fuss about us trying to scam you when you charged us $3.00 for a single spray of whipped cream on a $3.25 hot chocolate?

We understand you took off a meal from our tab. But this took 5-10 minutes of a confrontation. The mold was in TWO of our dishes (the blueberry and a cherry). All we asked for was a replacement or to have the fruit removed from our bill as neither fruits on both plates were touched. We were frequent customers, we enjoyed your establishment. This was unbelievable behaviour.

We care for the customers who expect a level of hygiene, health, and safety when eating there. Our point is that mistakes happen but HOW you dealt with it is what we cared about. You told us that “it happens all the time because you buy big bags of the fruit” so for future customers, check the fruit they serve you. Im sure there are still people who can enjoy your establishment, but it was greatly disappointing to meet the owner/chef and have him express a level of frustration that was in my opinion, very unnecessary.

restaurant threatened legal actions cause they put mold on my plate and then called me a liar. They then admitted to having put mold on my plate and said it happens sometimes, and that we were making a big deal out of nothing. This is a completely truthful statement. You can’t say im saying anything untruthful in this review (even though my last one was truthful as well, by my interpretation of the situation, not your misinterpretation of my words). You, the owner and chef of this establishment, were rude to me and my friend, and spoke very loudly with hostility. You did not offer any apologies, nor did you offer any solutions until you eventually said you would take the plate off the bill after a good 10 minutes rudely speaking to us, when all my friend asked for was a few dollars since the fruit was cross-contaminated by the moldy fruit.

You said you have audio clips of it that you could take me to court with. While you would be right in assuming that I would rather avoid that, this review would be completely truthful in what those will show.

I took down my review because you believed it was untruthful and threatened legal actions. But am I not allowed to express my disappointment with your restaurant and service?

So please, tell me this time, if you think this review is saying anything that didn’t happen. I will take this down and leave it at that, you wont hear from me again if you can tell me what part of this review is false.

Me and my wife were having our usual breakfast and overhead the table next to me complain about one blueberry being bad.. being from Saguenay Lac Saint Jean I know that its impossible to have impeccable blueberries as a few might be bad but this table next to me was being extremely entitled and wanted a rebate of some sort, they were giggling. At my old age I have never seen such ill intentioned people neither my wife. We have been coming her for many years never had any trouble, girls are great and run by good faith people, NEVER GOT ANY ISSUES, I felt compelled to write this review, since the young lady in the group was quite abrasive and seemed to enjoy bragging about writing a bad review, bringing the business down and all!! how can people be so horrible and be proud of it, i hope this find her or the right people.

After years of coming with my two boys we were told that a change to our order (such as banana on the side, which my son does not eat but I actually look forward to having) was now costing an extra upcharge. We did not accept that and left as a consequence.

We had a nice big breakfast. I had the Summum which was Bacon eggs fruit beans multi grain toast and coffee. The waitress was very nice and smiling. It was all good.

My favourite breakfast in montreal!! The servers are all so nice and friendly so no wonder it's almost always full. The food is really good and I like their coffee too (not too strong). Would definitely recommend ;)

Went for breakfast service was very slow and food was cold but I smiled and realized they were busy but then before we even received our bill we were asked to leave as they had a large reservation We then stood at the entrance and waited for bill and paid there. Absolutely horrendous service. Will never return.

Backyard Farmer

Solid breakfast spot. Food was pretty good (sausages were tasty and everything else was good), service as well. The spot can get a bit crowded on the weekend but no major complaints.
