This place used to be a real gem in the jean talon market.But is now managed by some really nasty people. I stopped in last night to eat and the staff were so cold and unwelcoming. When I went to the cashier to pay my bill, I said to her in spanish.What happened to this place?It used to be so friendly and popular.And now I feel like i'm imposing and totally ignored. Shouldn't be that hard to smile and make clients feel welcome in a restaurant? She then turned nasty on me and told me that I was being racist, and she was going to call the police. I was shocked.I feel like I was being chased out of the restaurant by an evil spirit. Imagine after it being one of my favorite mexican places to drive completely across town to eat at and to be told even though i'm fluent in spanish.And i've lived in mexico that i'm a racist, and I deserve to have the police arrest me for complaining about the cold.And unfriendly atmosphere of a restaurant that used to be quite popular. If it wasn't so upsetting, it would be laughable. And the place was empty and it was empty.The last time I was there as well, and now we know why. When the people who prepare the food don't do it with love, you feel it.And I felt sick to my stomach after as well. Serves me right for going back.The place was just as unwelcoming last time I was there. Honestly, nasty, people like that.Don't deserve your money or your time or your stomach.
