Excellent food, ambience and staff! One of my favourite restaurants in Montreal hands down.

Elena's was highly recommended to us..so we decided to give it a try as it is pretty close to our place. Making the same day reservation online was easy and confirmed immediately. The hostess greeting us was lovely and seated us on the terrace as requested.( the inside looked beautiful) Now things changed...the menu was only in French but also the print was exceptionally small so very difficult to read. Everything seemed a little expensive...especially the wine selection...just blew us away with the prices...and we know wine...Our pizzas were ok...but were not sizzling hot as expected...and the server seemed to be very rushed. And also seemed in a hurry to remove items from the table. The cannoloni were ok..not as sweet as I like but every place can be different. Was not the best experience..would not go again.

We debated what Italian place to check out and I am so happy we picked Elena! The vibe was fun, our waitress was friendly, and the food was outstanding. We decided to sit at the counter to watch the kitchen, and that was the best decision. We got to see the chefs assemble the food, listen to them banter and talk to them about the food and their experience. We a bottle of wine, a peach with cheese appetizer special with the soft bread. We were told about the kale and caesar, worth it and fabulous. We shared the Dany pizza and spaghetti ubriachi - both delicious. For dessert we had the olive oil cake which was a great ending dish. Do yourself a favor - check this place out, you will not be disappointed!

Sat at the bar to lessen the volume. Perfect choice, we could chat, take our time and ask the bartender to help explore a new wine choice. Come often and as usual, a great choice.

Overall, our experience was decent. We had a reservation but were seated at the bar, as we were told there was no availability elsewhere. We requested to sit on the patio, which appeared mostly empty, but our request was declined. It was disappointing to see an empty patio table remain unused for nearly the entire two hours we were there. The food was good, and the service started off well, but unfortunately, we seemed to be forgotten by our server toward the end of the meal.
Wonderful spot. That honey pizza makes your tastebuds dance. And the kale Caesar is killer

Excellent food. Great service. I do notice acoustics in the restaurant are loud. It's hard to hear the person next to you. Other then that, a fantastic experience. Will definitely be returning.

My husband and I took our two kids to Elena our last night in Montreal. it was a terrific time in a lovely neighborhood. The pizza was DELICIOUS!! (Also, naming a pizza "the Kevin McAllister" was bound to be a hit for little kids). We had a really delicious wine we had never tried before. The pistachio ice cream is to die for. We were seated on the terrace, which was much better for the kids but the inside looked marvelous. We cannot wait to return to Montreal and we would love to come here again.

After sleeping on it for ages I have now been twice in a week and loved it each time. We sat inside the first (on margin, would recommend that since it is a tad more "vibey") and outside on the terrace the second and had a lovely time on both occasions. The food is delicious and priced very well and for not very much you leave feeling full and content. Would very much recommend
