We debated what Italian place to check out and I am so happy we picked Elena! The vibe was fun, our waitress was friendly, and the food was outstanding. We decided to sit at the counter to watch the kitchen, and that was the best decision. We got to see the chefs assemble the food, listen to them banter and talk to them about the food and their experience. We a bottle of wine, a peach with cheese appetizer special with the soft bread. Les pâtes sont bien apprétées, les pizzas sont inventives et les entrées savoureuses. L'endroit est festif, le niveau de bruit est élevé, la musique n'aide pas. Bon choix pour un restaurant de quartier entre amis.
Overall, our experience was decent. We had a reservation but were seated at the bar, as we were told there was no availability elsewhere. We requested to sit on the patio, which appeared mostly empty, but our request was declined. It was disappointing to see an empty patio table remain unused for nearly the entire two hours we were there. The food was good, and the service started off well, but unfortunately, we seemed to be forgotten by our server toward the end of the meal.
