One of our favorite places for waffles in Montreal. The waffles are very thin and you get to choose all sorts of stuffings. Sometimes their stuffed menu are not offered, so it's best to check ahead of time. Our personal favorite is the savory salmon version and the sweet cranberry version. :)

Tried this on a Sunday early afternoon around 1-2pm They already had ran out of sweet waffles which made wifey and myself kinda disappointed. Be ready for a strong burnt waffle smell when you enter the place, at least it's done here! We had to ask the waitress if she could already bring some coffee since our food took quite some time to come even though the place wasn't packed. Her english wasn't on point (ok this is Quebec but come on..) and she barely knew what she was doing although she mentioned she has been working here for a year already. Once the coffee came, we had to ask for creamer/milk. When cups were finished she didn't check once to know if we needed more, so when I asked for more she finally asked if we wanted more creamer/milk and when I answered yes she let go some sort of noise like "okaaayy" (clearly I was annoying her by asking her things she should have done already without me asking for it). Now the food was nicely presented, waffles were interesting and the menu is large enough so everybody can find something for their own taste but personally I wouldn't go back to that spot.

Awesome little gem, just gave a try to this place for the first time today and it was fantastic. They have a special type of menu where you guys choose a mix between salted and sweet, everything is freshly prepared and tasty, would totally recommand

Very disappointing. We got an assortment of different sweet and savory waffles. All very mediocre :(. Sweet waffles are served with powerdered sugar on top. Waffles are very bready, tiny bit on soggy side.

This place has an absolutely fantastic idea for how they serve their food, and the presentation is fabulous! We ordered The Carousel, and it was great for two. My partner is not a massive breakfast eater, so order additional food if your party has an appetite, or you have more than two joining you. If I'm being completely honest, the food tasted a little bland, except for the smoked salmon and garlic stuffed waffle. They have their smoked salmon down! We didn't try anything chocolate, but did order a chocolate and berry waffle, and received only berry by mistake. We did not point this out, so there was no fault by the restaurant. Honestly, they probably didn't hear the order properly because we were deciding between a couple of things. The chocolate would have added the kick of sweetness it needed. I still enjoy warm, and slight sweetness of berries. Perhaps some vanilla bean Mascarpone cream would have taken it to the next level. I'm not a cook though, so what the hell do I know ;) The rest of the dish came with a smaller, savory waffle, some fruit, bread, a salad(definitely needed more flavor), and fresh juice. The consistency was very thick, and not what I expected for peach juice. Nothing was inedible by any means, and we still enjoyed our meal. I gave three stars because I wanted to taste a little more. I'd encourage people to continue to come here, and try the stuffed salmon waffle options, and something chocolate.

Delicious waffles. Friendly service. Generous portions. I had a stuffed savory waffle: prosciutto, mushrooms and mozzarella. The I had a sweet one with mango, pineapple, strawberry and banana. Yummy. All fresh and made to order.

It was a great experience dining at Enguafrez-vous. My party was lucky to arrive early enough in the morning that we were the only group in the restaurant. The waiter was very friendly and helped us decide the best dishes to eat. Every dish that me and my friends got (I got the stuffed waffle and another of my friends got the sweet waffle) was delicious and was just the right amount of filling for a breakfast waffle. I gave 4 stars simply because the menu and choice options were a bit confusing. A great time overall!
