Great experience here when we visited back in October - the barista was very kind, knowledgeable and welcoming. Made a fantastic cortado and cappuccino for us, then a pink bourbon limitee pourover to share which was delicious as well (ended up buying a bag of these and enjoyed many brews at home later). We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a top notch specialty coffee experience! This and Cafe Eclair were our favorite coffees in Montreal.

Try Escape Lab à Cafe on Rue Notre-Dame in Montreal for the absolute best coffee I personally ever had on the planet! Each equipment they use for from grinding the beans to brewing a shot of espresso is specialized, expert-picked and honestly so damn expensive. It's the only coffee in town that is worth more than what you pay in true value. Go try it and listen to some Bobby...
What a great specialty coffee place! It was the perfect stop on our last day in Montreal, and we made such a lovely memory before we left. Really enjoyed their amazing pourovers and the super nice staff, Victor. We're definitely going back to Escape Café next time we visit Montreal! They have an incredible quality and selection of beans. We loved their Geisha so much, we bought a bag to take home.
