It's a place for tourists looking for something cheap to eat.
We were served quickly, though. The cocktails weren't bad at all (I got the cilantro and jalapeño one and it was very refreshing).
You have a choice of tacos (2 for $12.95), which aren't bad, buuuut the flavor comes with the price.
Cheap is expensive, as we say back home.
We got the fish tacos, which surprisingly weren't bad at all (they were the only ones).
We got the chicken ones, and honestly, they taste like a McDonald's chicken burger, hahahahaha, it doesn't taste Mexican at all.
Then we got the birria tacos, and the broth tasted like cinnamon (...) Since when do we put cinnamon in birria broth these days?
That's when I got mad because it wasn't good at all.

Overall, it fills your stomach, you eat cheap, yes, but it doesn't taste like Mexico. It's too Tex-Mex and it's poorly made :(
My boyfriend got the orange cocktail and it was sooo sweet.
As a Mexican, I was disappointed because restaurants here usually try to add that Mexican flavor, but this one just doesn't have it.
I don't recommend it :\

Here’s why I would never go back or recommend anyone go here:

1) Our waitress honestly seemed annoyed to even be serving us—zero friendliness or warmth, which set a pretty bad vibe right from the start.

2) Portions were ridiculously small; we ordered tacos, and the two tacos combined were less than the size of one normal taco - I thought it was a mistake and that they gave me a kids meal. It felt less like dinner and more like a charitable act. I started wondering if my bill was actually a donation to UNICEF.

3) Prices were way too high for what you get.

This place is a textbook tourist trap. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it; save your money and go somewhere else (unless paying extra for attitude and toddler portions and leaving still hungry is your thing—then by all means, indulge!)

Not lot of staff, but the food was outstanding. If I am ever back in this area of MTL, I will be coming back. Staff is very kind, a gorgeous restaurant with such a cute atmosphere.

Vegetarian options: A couple of vegan options! Not many but a few were available.

The tacos were dry and tasteless. The birria tacos were not edible. On the other hand, the guacamole starter was excellent. I don't recommend it at all for a meal but for starters yes. Not to mention the cocktails weren't drinkable, I almost vomited in my mouth (pinacolada).

Overpriced. We started with the guacamole which I found very salty. I ordered the ribs for $27 and received 5 somewhat dry ribs. Nothing else on the plate. This was an appetizer, not a main dish. My companion had some tacos that were fine. Won't be going back.

Our server, Daniel, was absolutely amazing! I went out with my sister, and we always argue over who gets to cover the bill. I asked Daniel to bring out just one bill, but he cleverly brought out two—one of which included the full total, while the other made it seem like the bill was split. My sister assumed we were paying separately, only to realize after I had already covered everything. It was such a small detail, but it completely caught us both by surprise since it’s not something servers typically do. A brilliant trick on his part!

Beyond that, his service throughout the evening was exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, and made our experience even better. I’d love to have him as our server again!

Beautiful decor and beautiful atmosphere in the heart of old Montreal. Without being exceptional, the tacos are good and the price is fair. The service is unfortunately deficient. We are customers at the Repentigny branch where the service is much more pleasant.

Pleasant servers. Atmosphere nice. Water on the table was too warm to drink. I had coke, excellent, my dinner companions had mojitos and a margarita . The margarita got sent back it was so bad. Mojitos were drinkable but not enjoyable . No one liked the food. It lacked flavour and eye appeal. Sadly will not return to this location.
