They close 9:30, we walked in at 9:10 and the server showed how welcoming we were with a big smile. Then she came to us and recommended a few dishes. Some of the best and most authentic Chinese food Ive ever had in Montreal.

Even though they were soon to be closed, she always showed a really good attitude towards her guests. She was very attentive and always made sure we were good. She even suggested a few spots for us to go as tourists.

My greatest impression was the service. I was impressed with the passion for service and hospitality that she showed.

Will definitely be returning to her when i visit next time

The service is horrible horrible the waiters shout at the customers and force them to give tips they add the tips to the bill without even asking if we want to give tips or not

It was my worst experience in restaurants the lady at the cash register was very mean and disrespectful plus she forces everyone to leave tips by selecting the amount she wants without asking

Awesome service. Lady was waiting to serve us as soon as we sat down. She was very patient (all my friends werent sober). Food came out hot and fresh and very cheap with HUGE portions. Like not the best Chinese food I've ever had but for the price can't beat it.

I don't understand the overall rating which is low. I find that for the price the food is always very good. They are extremely fast and very kind! I've been coming here since 2016 and I recommend it to everyone!

Bad service. The woman waiter was rude taking our order and did not care at all. Her face like didn't like us when we still confuse about order things.
The man is still good than the woman.
The food is fine if you’re unfamiliar with good chinese food, however to be honest it’s pretty bad.
And here, we must TIP they minimum 15% with their service that not good enough.
don't want to come back again for sure.

I had a good experience at Restaurant Ethan. The menu has a nice variety of options, and the food was flavorful with generous portions. The prices were very reasonable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It’s a solid choice for Chinese food.

Came here, seated ourselves at a table because no one was telling us nothing. Servers ignored us for 10 mins and when I got up to ask for the menu I was rudely shut down and asked who seated me. When I was replying that there wasn't any sign that indicated we were supposed to wait (although we did for 2-3 mins), she cut me off again with "that's not my problem". Will never return if this is the treatment customers receive for doing what they think is right when there are no signs to indicate how the service works or anyone to help them. Terrible service.

We ordered the Combo H for two and the portions are clearly smaller than ordering each dish on their own.
The quality of food here is very low with minimal meat and lots of filler …

The price is right to try a bunch of dishes at once but what’s the point? Go elsewhere for the real deal.

Quality and service is certainly a foreign policy to this restaurant. The duck tasted and looked like dog food, at best. General Toa was seasoned by a 3 year old. Could have chewed on a sponge for better results. The service was horrendous. Apparently tipping is mandatory even if you're not satisfied with the service or food. Got yelled at by the whiskey barrel looking lady for not tipping her 20%, for the rude service. I'd avoid this place at all costs.

Very dirty place and the food isn't even that good. And they force you to tip.. i've reported them regarding this.
