Hey read this review I've been here multiple times and I know what I'm talking about
As a person of non Asian descent the waiters are extremely rude and uninviting to me and my friends. We would ask for water or a container to bring back the food. Tell me why the waiters does not even talk back and when she brought back the containers and she basically threw them on the table without saying a word. Keep in mind I try to be as polite as possible when I go out to Restaurant because I respect the worker in the service industry. But these Women didn't have a bone of politeness in their bodies.
Don't get me wrong I will always give a tip to my waiters, I know they work hard and sometimes depend on tips but when I don't even get the basic politeness and no hello how are you, it's problem. So I didn't feel like tipping but when I tried to leave the restaurant there was 4-5 workers surrounding me telling me that I HAD to tip more than I had already tipped (because yes I still did tip despite the terrible service), which I didn't appreciate after the service I received.
I've been to this restaurant at least six times and I think there was only one times we had a server who didn't seem to be mad at the customer.(Also there was a worker watching a TV show on full blast and she was having a loud mental break down, don't get me wrong again I know all mental health but like can I eat in piece my friends cat had just died)
I read the reviews and the people who enjoyed the customer service seemed to be of Asian background, I'm not assuming anything just putting that out there
Now you might be wondering why is this girl still going if she hates the customer service. But the truth lies in the dish #87. Now these are the best noodles I've have ever eaten in my life, it is me and my best friend's comfort food and I recommend to everyone. The portions are very good and they have good price not like the customer service. I hope most of my money goes to the chef's.
Conclusion do I think you should come, yes but be prepared for Bad customer service and good food

My experience at Restaurant Ethan was horrible. The food was horrible, more specifically:
1. The dumplings dough was so thick and the meat was un flavourful.
2. The bean sprouts were so soft and not crunchy at all. The worst rendition of this dish I’ve ever tasted.
The atmosphere had a weird smell when we initially walked in which should’ve been a sign that it wouldn’t be a good place to eat at + the tables were dirty. Would never come back here again.

Service is sucks. Server are so rude.
It’s surprising that such a simple dish took so long to prepare/serve, cause unfortunately, my meal was served when the rest of the table had nearly finished theirs.
Also it felt like some of the food wasn’t fresh and had been refried or reheated.
If you're on a vacation, I recommend that don't visit this place.

Waitress are rude especially the Chinese servant. Very bad service. We lost appetite. The moment we entered the restaurant the faces of the waitress is not welcoming. And imposed mandatory tip of 18% For real??

I live in Toronto, I went there for visiting and this place was really amazing in price, food , and the quality and quality, I wish they had a headquarters in Toronto, that would be so cool.

Came in thinking this place served authentic Cantonese food because of how the shop looked, but the food was a huge letdown. Most of what we ordered tasted like a completely bastardized version of Chinese food.
The Kung Pao chicken came with broccoli, sweet and sour sauce, and cashew nuts… nothing like the dried chili chicken dish I know. The mapo tofu was bland, the tofu cut into such big chunks that it had no flavor at all. Dumplings were just boiled and tasteless.
Really disappointing overall. The shopfront looks authentic, but the food definitely is not.

Nice food but very bad service. After we wanted water without ice, they treated us like ennemies.

Wouldn't go back.. poor quality.
Food was ok, but not hygienic. The waitress place one plate on top of each other when serving. Service is extremely BAD. First of all I had to get waitresses attention several times just to place order, and they all have attitude, rude! Everyone else had a glass of water apart from me. I ordered bubble tea but without any boba inside. At the end I refused to tip, the cashier said it out loud “she didn’t tip” and I replied the service was extremely bad. Like seriously?

Delicious and fast food, it was busy with hightail turn over.
The pan fried pork dumplings, Xiao long boa and Cantonese Chow mein were great, my child ate a whole order of the rice noodle rolls which was super fresh.
