Used to eat here regularly almost thirty years ago. Went back again recently and it was just as good as it was back then. That makes this place an institution. No better pierogies in town. This place is like a warm hug.

The tripe soup and potato pancakes are amazing. I tried Polish plate and pierogi before, it was pretty good, little different from what I'm used to. Extra point for food being always accompanied with rye bread and butter, sour cream and salad

I'm very pleased with this hidden jam. The food is healthy and handmade by the owner. She told me she was personally making pierogi and bigos, and they are very good, fulfilling, and remind me of home. Even better, my mom wasn't cooking nearly as well as the owner. I also tried a kielbasa, and it's very good. I wish there was a better choice of cold cuts and fresher cakes, but well, you can't have everything. I also appreciate the design of the walls. :D....
