I had a great time here :) All the food was really tasty! They have a great selection, and the portions were just the right size so as to be able to sample a bunch of different things but also get your money’s worth. The service was also very polite and quick. I would for sure come back!!

I had a very disappointing experience at Sushi Uma last night. I was with my brother and father, and our experience was okay for the first 45 minutes but after that when we ordered our food we waited over an hour and we never received it.

We asked one of the servers and he said that it can take up to 15-20 minutes for food to arrive. Other tables with larger groups and orders had their food come out in a timely fashion. My brother had received food but it was the incorrect amount.

We noticed that being the only black group at the restaurant it felt very racially motivated. When my brother got up to pay, we showed our student IDs for the discount and the server said that because of that he had to give him a tip.

My father refused and said that both me and my brother were not happy as we had ordered our food twice and never received it. We felt we were talked down to and treated differently.

I never experienced such poor service in MTL before last night.

I paid nearly $40 (including tax) for lunch to be served by a robot and having dry bland sushis. They tasted old and the rice was undercooked. Worst sushi place I tried.

Even with a reservation, we had to wait 30 minutes before we could sit down, but it was well worth it! Everything on the menu was amazing!

Sushi decent in general. Unfortunately a lot of stuff we would order would either come really late or would just never show up so we had to reorder a couple of times. The sushi’s sometimes fell apart. Also the salmon and fish egg nigiri’s are way too salty. I’d say it’s a very average all you can eat sushi

Food was ok, but even with the delivery robots, service was slow. If you hire more staff and improve your service, you will set yourself apart from the thousands of other Quebec businesses that make this same mistake. When you skimp on service to save money, you get average or poor ratings.

It's an ok place. I like the robotic waiter experience. It's all you can eat sushi but every order you put in for some reason you don't get the full order there is always something missing.

Genuinely the best acye sushi experience I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, delicious-the fried scallops were amazing. Sashimi was perfect, fresh, and cut amazingly.

The music, the vibes, the art, it’s all incredible. I came here for an anniversary with my partner and it was the best vibe ever for us!

I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Montreal, anyone who loves Studio Ghibli, and anyone in general. If you want to appreciate art, come here. The decor is actually jaw dropping. There’s two floors, each beautifully designed.

Literally 10/10. Staff is so friendly and very helpful and polite. Food service is quick and always fresh.

Too slow

I would like to recommend anyone wants to try Sushi in Montreal. There are so Many menu dishes.

Delicious sushi! Kids also enjoyed the food which is always a plus for two toddlers! Robot server was also entertaining. Great selection and variety of food items. Would def go back next time we visit.

If you aren't difficult, you will be okay. But if you enjoy sushi often, this is not the place for you. Maybe we were there at a bad time, but both of us were displeased with the flavor of most of the sushis and food. Passable salmon, dry meat etc...
