A friend of mine introduced us to this place and I'm very glad she did , this is hands down best noodles in Montreal ! super affordable too, great place for a quick lunch. There is space to sit but it's very casual food court style. They accept cash and card. They're tucked away and not easily visible in a building right on st Catherine street in the concordia area. Their dandan noodles were sooooo delicious, I can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

This place has amazing noodle soup. It’s a random little restaurant but DAMN is it good and cheap!!!! I’ve come here a couple times and it’s the best chinese food I’ve had in Montreal.

I have a bias for this place because it was the first time I ever had those deep fried buns (I forgot the actual name of the desert) and ended up eating a couple dozen ?? of course, the hotpot is great too. Unlike many other AYCE places, the servers will bring you the food. So although it might come a little bit slower, it’s less hectic and more instagrammable ?

Amazing food for an amazing price. The owner is super nice! The wife and I ordered one express fondu and another dish, let me tell you it was enough to feed 5 people for 36$ worth of food! Also the most authentic Beijing organ stew ice had in Canada. Highly recommend!!!

Authentic, delicious and cheap. What more can you ask for? Their homemade chili oil goes with everything and it's so good. I usually get the stir fried chinese pancake. They also have many other options such as noodles, mutton soup, etc.

The Faubourg dining space is very interesting & this place has got to be the highlight for me! I've gone here a few times for their noodle soups & also the dry fondue. Very unique taste & service & I like it! I plan to go through the entire menu!

Charge $2 for bowl deposit. Service is not good and I was disappointed at the malatang there. Though my friend told me their noodles were good. Not sure if I will come to try again.

This plate is pork and noodles, adding spicy ? and garlic was simply delicious... i totally recommand it even if it’s kinda sketchy! Most amazing soup ever when it’s cold and you need a comfort meal to improve your mood. I also liked the fact that they add vegetables in the soup... it’s not only noodles and meat Enjoy!

They charged me for a takeout container and don’t tell you. They also charged me for noodles and didn’t tell me if it was extra , who charges for noodles when you’re ordering a soup?

Over a dozen soups in this tiny restaurant tucked away at the back of the third floor of Le Fauberg. (If you want something more substantial there is a what looks to be good Chinese food at at a resto right next to Fondue Chinoise. The soups here are huge. Bone broth is the base for dumplings, rare beef, lamb, pork and many other options . Add coriander and hot sauce and you've got a substantial and delicious inexpensive meal (most soups are between $10 and $15 and one bowl is enough for two people). On top of the price of the soup there is a $2 deposit for the bowl. When I returned my bowl I told them to keep the $2 as a tip and was refused "No tips here I was told." Nice people, great food, plus there is an amazing Chinese supermarket one floor down.

Still think this is the best homemade Chinese food in Montreal. The owners are extremely sweet and the food is super flavourful. The portions are hugee and the price is super affordable

First time coming here and food was great. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t come back. WORST customer service i’ve ever received. The cashier was incredibly rude and unless you speak chinese, it was extremely hard to communicate with him. We tried asking if the dish contained any peanuts since my friend is allergic and he just hushed us and told us to order. He demanded we speak french and so we did, but we couldn’t understand anything and he started getting frustrated at us. He was embarrassing us in front of other clients and treated us like we were animals that came begging for his food.

$15/person Excellent Chinese food in town. The cashier/owner had HORRIBLE attitude when I asked for special cooking instructions. MUST TRYs: #Ma La Xiang Guo, shown in pic (need to ask for a separate menu to order it) #Rice Noodle NOTE: they charge for 1.5-2 when paying with cards

Unexpected bliss finding the express. Tucked away in a building off the beaten path any tourist might find, I was lucky enough to catch them right before the end of their day. I got the noodle soup and it was the bomb. I immediately thought of places I've had in NYC that had just as much flavor from the broth and the noodles were amazing. If you are visiting Montreal and find this place is open, be happy to spend less and get more out of Fondue. Just amazing.
