Frite Alors! (St-Denis)

The cheese they put on the poutine is fantastic, but unfortunately there just wasn’t enough of it. If you get any poutine other than the one that comes with double the cheese, I’d ask for extra cheese (can’t remember if that’s an option when you order online though). The fries are ok, not quite as good as the cheese but not terrible either. The gravy though is where things took a turn for the worst. It just wasn’t that good in my opinion. Mine also had the pulled pork on it, which was fine and a decent serving.

If they can fix the gravy and add extra cheese it would push their poutines to 5 star.

Service was fine, but this is a takeout order placed online. There was an issue with the order not being ready when I came to pick it up, even though we were late to pick it up due to traffic. They claimed there was some issue with the tickets not printing, and thankfully I didn’t have to wait very long (about 10 min). Not sure if that’s a common occurrence or just a one off.

The food was amazing. Love a good Montreal Poutine. I got the small Tex Mex, the server had such a positive attitude that made the experience so much better. The small poutine was the perfect amount of food to keep you full and not overly bloated. Will definitely come back

It's was delicious! Cheese burger with gluten free bun, with a gf cider to wash it down!!!
I had the wonderful Ambre as my server. $ well spent....I'll be back!! Lol!

Place is okay, food is good. They do NOT have grilled cheese, but well, it's Google fault, not their. Probably they used to have it. Not anymore.

It took about a good 10 minutes before someone came to take our order, and there were only 3 other customers in the restaurant. Afterward, it was almost 20 minutes to get our order because, apparently, the machine did not spit out our order. The smash burger with bacon was really greasing. The fries were crispy, and the Frites, Alors sauce was spicy. I was curious about this restaurant, and I'm no longer curious. I'm not sure I'll come back.

Excellent meal made this afternoon. Very good hamburger and excellent fries. A nice surprise. I will end my stay on Saturday at this address.

I can't believe that in the middle of a Thursday evening, 45 minutes before closing (although announced at 11 p.m. online AND on the door) this restaurant allows itself to close without even leaving an explanatory note for its customers in the door..? !? Even though it's one of my favorite restaurants, I won't go back there again, I'm tired of having to guess whether or not a business is going to respect the hours it posts online and end up hitting my head. nose in a closed place.

And if I go out to have my evening meal somewhere other than at home it is certainly not to eat at 7 p.m.

Nice choice on the very extensive menu although a little disappointed by the lack of flavor in my meal. Hamburger without much humf...but hey it's a hamburger.
