Unfortunately, over time, they removed all the burgers and sauces that were out of the ordinary and that made Frite Tandi stand out from other places. No more ciabatta buns, burgers like the royal de Charlevoix, sauces like bearnaise. Like all restaurants, inflation has had its effect. It's expensive for fairly ordinary burgers. The fries are still very good. Unfortunately this restaurant is dying little by little and it wouldn't surprise me if it closes permanently in the near future.

I think they didn’t understand what the adjective family means in “family poutine”.

We order from this place often. However, there is always something forgotten or an error with the take-out order…

In my memories the food was better. I had a Smash Burger. The fries are always good, the atmosphere and the service is always extraordinary. But the Burger very pretty and appetizing. Third bite I arrive at rare minced meat. I ate the contour which was well cooked. When the waitress comes to pick it up she asks if it was ok, I show her the undercooked meatball, she asks me do you want us to make you another 1. No thank you I ate the rest, just not the cooked meatballs . I'm just warning him to pass on the message that it's dangerous and you have to cook the meat well. It was the answer she gave me that blew my mind. The Smash Burger meatballs are hard to cook well because they are frozen ?. I thought it was in a fast food restaurant better than McDonald's, but it looks like the quality is there.

Having just arrived in Montreal for 2 nights we went to Frite Tandi! which was 2 blocks from our accommodation.
A lovely discovery, delicious hamburgers and the fries a treat. As for the young waitress, she didn't waste her tip, she was adorable.

I visited Frite Donc to taste their famous fries. The restaurant was clean and tidy, the staff was welcoming and my questions were answered.I ended up having a large fries. The fries were golden, a little crispy while still being tender on the inside. Not too much oil considering they are fries. For the price it is reasonable even if the quantity leaves something to be desired.
