Please bring back the tsunami tteokbokki !!!! it was my fav and comfort meal
I don’t usually write Google reviews for restaurants, but I had such a nice dinner at Ganadara during my trip to Montreal that I felt like I should leave one.
I’m a Korean living in a small town in Canada, so I don’t often go to Korean restaurants when I travel (I usually just cook at home). But my kids really wanted tteokbokki, so we stopped by Ganadara, and I’m so glad we did. The food was delicious, the place was clean, and the staff were kind. The owner even came out of the kitchen to say goodbye to us.
We loved the “poutine tteokbokki” so much that we ordered another one to go. Right after we left, some sauce leaked out because of a small mistake my son made. He went back in to ask for an extra bag, but instead of just giving him one, they completely repacked the food in a new container. It was so thoughtful, and we really appreciated it.
We also chatted with a Taiwanese couple who knew a little Korean sitting next to us, and it was also a really sweet and fun moment.
All in all, delicious food, kind people, and a warm experience. Highly recommend!

Honestly you couldn’t taste anything but garlic. I drank so much water after I couldn’t taste ANYTHING, to the point where it burnt my mouth. I understand Korean dish are supposed to taste garlicky but this had NO TASTE but garlic. It’s like they dumped the whole bottle of garlic. After only 5 bites I felt nauseous and as I’m writing this review the taste is still in my mouth.
The pork ribs were not tender at all and really hard to eat.
I told my server and she said this was normal, I went to Korea and no this is not normal, I would stay away from this dish: Cream Udon Pork Ribs.
I also got the squid and it was okay, not the best for 18$ though

Really affordable, quick service, and nice Korean restaurant on Rue Mackay 😇😇 We started with shrimp tempura which was delicious and then moved onto Chicken Katsu and spicy chicken cupbap ❤️❤️ Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get a quick bite to eat as the food is super delicious and the service very fast 🎉🎉
When you need Korean flavors fast and fuss-free, this little gem is the place to be.
Cozy and efficient, this spot always hits the mark when I’m craving quick, tasty Korean food. The portions are massive — you definitely get your money’s worth. Perfect for a fast meal between classes, and they offer a convenient to-go option if you’re in a rush.
It’s my go-to place!
Used to be my favourite as a student (when they only had one location near guy Concordia with a long line all the time), felt great to return for the same amazing food. The rose tteokbokki was extremely good, cheesy, creamy, and the rice cake was cooked just right. The portion was smaller than I expected but the price justified it. I felt reasonably fed after finishing it by myself. Would return for more!
I always get the Chicken Katsu Curry for takeout. It's low-key, consistent and delicious.
Ordered the spicy chicken cupbap. The chicken is well seasoned, and the bowl included half rice with half salad, poached egg, cucumber, and 2 fried dumplings. It was really good, and I recommend eating it with kimchi.
When I went there was no line and the service was nice and quick.

I cannot recommend the poutine enough! It was the perfect blend of the most delicious/classic Korean foods with fries and cheese ...... Heaven..
Everything was good and fresh. Fast service. Will definitely come back!
The food was excellent and the portions were very generous for the price. You order and pay at the counter and the food is brought to your table.
My go to place whenever I come to concordia :)
I highly recommend this real korean restaurent!!❤️💯
