Garde Cote was recommended to us by Hotel Nelligan as we we couldn’t get into Joe Beef. We were wonderfully surprised by this choice, and turned out to be a quality meal. The manager/owner made sure to sell us a carry of great options to create our own custom tasting menu that accommodated our allergies. The Chilean sea bass was absolutely amazing, as well as the sides and dips! Be sure to give them a try

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and especially our desserts, at this restaurant. Highly recommend the lobster roll. The pastry chef came to the table to explain the desserts. They sounded so good that we ordered all of them to share and they exceeded our expectations. They were amazing! We will definitely be back the next time we are in Montreal.

Ok. I’m here live. I never (or rarely) write reviews but this place deserves one. Best restaurant I’ve been to since pre-Covid on all fronts and I dine out a lot. The food was unbelievable from the oysters down to desserts. The clams casino are to die for. The bass was spectacular. The service was bar-none the best. Theo was a gem and we would honestly come back just for him. AMAZING overall. 20/10 recommend!!! Keep up the good work. Montreal needs more restaurants like you guys.

Wow! What a superb experience. For our anniversary, my friend and I chose to visit the Coast Guard last Friday. We were served by Romain who gave us excellent service and we had the pleasure of meeting Theo who made sure we were satisfied between each service. They even added a little special touch to celebrate our birthdays. Impeccable, warm and professional service. High quality cuisine. I will definitely come back. Thank you Theo and Romain!
