The food was amazing but I will say the staff seemed a bit snobby because we didn't have a reservation. I personally tipped but my friend did not and she was called out for it. She was told 15% was mandatory, which I understand is an etiquette that we should all share but to shamed for it was not something I was expecting.

We had a reservation, but the host still made us line up with the walk-ins (from the end of the line), so we ended up standing in line for over 30 minutes. The food was meh. Also, when we were eating, the waiter was arranging tables next to us and lifted a table over our heads and food without asking…definitely not the cleanest or safest way to move a table

Made a brunch reservation based on a recent montreal article recommendation. The architecture and decor made it seem like a polished high end resto, but the state of the furniture and bathroom gave it a rundown dive vibe. The food was okay, made with fresh ingredients but everything was lukewarm. The portions are small. The service was acceptable but not professional. Don't think I'd bother going back.

Jokes aside, we went on April 26 ‘25 and it somehow took an entire hour from the moment we ordered to when the food actually hit the table and this is what we waited for:
- A chicken burger with a burnt bun and a deep fried chicken patty that tasted like the oil’s been around longer than some of my friendships. - A side of potatoes that were surprisingly decent.
This dish cost $25 and honestly the price feels like part of the joke.
The atmosphere is nice. High ceilings, lots of greenery. But no amount of plants can distract from that experience.
The waiter did let us know they were short staffed especially in the kitchen, but at some point you have to ask: are you running a restaurant or a social experiment?

Food was decent. Chai & Matcha were bad. Service was slow but friendly. Vibe was way off. Super hot and sunny indoors (no shade) and blasting club-like music for brunch on a weekday. I couldn't wait to gtfo honestly. I def wouldn't go back. I was 100% overstimulated.
Also, the windows and bathrooms were really dirty, which made the place look unkept.

if I could give 0 stars I would. 3 of us walking in, around 9am, place was almost empty. we sat down, waiting for someone to come serve us. waitress walks to us after a good 5-6 min, told us the menu was online. didnt bring us water, or offered us coffee. 9:26, nothing. she never came back to take our orders. or bring us water. we just walked out.

I ordered a similar meal as I did three years ago, and the difference was shocking. The portion size was so much smaller, the presentation was non-existent, and the overall quality of the food declined. Included is a comparison photo from 3 years ago & today.
The service was also extremely poor. I ordered a latte and it came almost an hour after with several reminders

There's competition everywhere around campus and the hospital, I probably won't go back here anymore..

It's a really cool place, it needs some refresh and clean up (like the plates stuck to the wall art, old plastic plants and some curtains for the sun missing...) but the vibe is nice and the staff is great, very helpful and kind. The food is delicious. Totally recommend it.

I asked the lady at the next table for the Heinz ketchup because the one on my table was from a lower-quality brand. The service is slow and disappointing.
