The bar is awesome looking and has a cool concept, the drinks and food was really good, however the staff was so rude and unprofessional. Our waitor (I believe he is a french guy), did not even bother to come see us a second time to see if we wanted another drink or anything else, we had to flag him down, and even when we did he was extremely cold. Sad such staff work in hospitality.
Really nice spot! Great cocktails and service
Gokudo used to be my favourite cocktail bar, by far. However, some time a few years ago, the staff and management changed. The menu changed, with iconic and incredibly well-balanced cocktails being removed while less interesting drinks were added. Despite, from what I can tell, the addition of more staff, the service has become worse. Honestly, it's all a big disappointment that has me missing the old Gokudo and the old bar staff that worked there.
Our group of friends went there for drinks and we loved the vibe. The music is not too loud, it’s intimate and the table was private and comfortable. We loved the plum wine bottle!
Great music, good food, nice vibe
Really cozy vibe and the music is not too loud or overstimulating so you can actually have a conversation. Great service too, the server was always there right when we needed her! The food and drinks were tasty and came very quickly
Come for the cocktails--they definitely didn't disappoint. Pricey finger food menu, just disregard, i guess
my boyfriend and i came around 7pm to celebrate valentine’s day and we were immediately sitted down. we then ordered two cocktails that arrived after 10 mins. there was no complaints up until now whatsover. we also ordered a bowl of sashimis. around 8pm, we started wondering if our order was forgotten because we thought it wasn’t normal that preparing some raw fish can take up to an hour. we kept looking around and people who came after us received their foods, course after course. at some point, we asked one of the waitresses if she could check if our order was coming soon. she said she’ll check it out, but never came back to us although she continued serving the people sitting right next to us. we then asked the other waitress and she said that it was coming soon. we ended up waiting till 8:30pm, but still no sashimi bowl. we asked the waitress a second time and she continued to say that it was coming soon. after waiting for more than 1h30, we decided to leave so we asked for the bill. our waitress gave us the bill and charged us the sashimi bowl even though we never received it, we had to tell her to remove it. she didn’t apologize for the wait, she just let us leave without ever receiving the order we placed an hour and a half ago. we felt really disrespected by the staff and we wasted so much time on an important occasion. will not come back.
Fun place! Drinks and food were good. The layout of the bar is a little odd, we were very close to the entrance and separate from the main area.
Quality is not what it used to be. Very expensive, the bar added items to my bills without us ordering it.
The seats are broken down and the place had a bad smell.
I used to love the place.

Great place to get drinks for a date
A special cocktail bar with great vibes and unique cocktails. The staff want to make sure you have a good time.
Definitely worth visiting!
Checked out Gokudo for our second speakeasy of the night. Busy on a Saturday evening (10:30pm) but no wait for a table. The inside is dark and sultry with plenty of love for The Weeknd songs. Small food menu, cocktails ($14.00 to $15.00) and sake but you can order off menu. First tipping option of 25% was wild.
- Saké du moment ($18.00 carafe) - server didn’t tell us what type of sake. Standard
- Edamame ($6.00)
- Chicken skewers ($9.00 for 2) - sauce was a touch too sweet
- Beef udon ($16.00) - small portion but good flavours. First time seeing pastrami with udon
Chill, loungy spot to have a few drinks. 3.5 stars.
While the drinks and vibes of the restaurant and really cool. The service here was not good. Our servers were very slow and rude. We were a larger group and it felt like they didn't want us there.
The place was closed although it’s open till 1am as per the website
