Visiting over the Thanksgiving break, we stopped by here and everything was just smooth from start to finish. The service was friendly, the food came out fast, and everything we ordered tasted great. It’s an easy spot to relax, enjoy your meal, and not feel rushed. Glad we came through — I’d definitely come back again!

Amazing cocktail bar with a cozy vibe and beautifully crafted drinks. Andrea, Fan, and Hinako are the best super friendly, talented, and always make you feel welcome. If you want great cocktails and great service, this place is a must-visit.

Waited 25 minutes to go in and when we got in, we waited 30 minutes before leaving. No one came to serve us.

Came to visit this place for the first time - it’s full house. Kindly waited in the corner of this cozy room. Thanks to the samurai who kept me company!

I came alone. I ordered a scallop appetizer. They were good… So that encouraged me to get a maguro (tuna) dish with rice. The tuna wasn’t tender or fresh enough. It was a bit fibrous and dry. That disappointed me. They have a nice selection of sake and Japanese whiskey. The waitress was kind. However, they don’t accept cash, and no one mentions it in advance. I don’t know what they expect 🙄😬. Payment was complicated. A real shame. I won’t be going back

The ambience and decor is really nice, the quality of the drinks is okay, some were very tasty but others were quite bad. The service completely turned us off. Our waitress never came to take our orders or offer any service through the night, despite the bar not being busy. Thankfully we were helped by the hostess. The bar was expecting a Formula One crowd but I’m not sure how they planned to manage it with such bad service.

The bar is awesome looking and has a cool concept, the drinks and food was really good, however the staff was so rude and unprofessional. Our waitor (I believe he is a french guy), did not even bother to come see us a second time to see if we wanted another drink or anything else, we had to flag him down, and even when we did he was extremely cold. Sad such staff work in hospitality.

Gokudo used to be my favourite cocktail bar, by far. However, some time a few years ago, the staff and management changed. The menu changed, with iconic and incredibly well-balanced cocktails being removed while less interesting drinks were added. Despite, from what I can tell, the addition of more staff, the service has become worse. Honestly, it's all a big disappointment that has me missing the old Gokudo and the old bar staff that worked there.

Our group of friends went there for drinks and we loved the vibe. The music is not too loud, it’s intimate and the table was private and comfortable. We loved the plum wine bottle!
