The food was good. The service was way above average standard. We were served by Clara. She was very nice and professional. She compensated our long wait for the last piece of our order without us even asking.

The food was ok, but the drinks were extremely bad. My drink had so much salt in it that it felt like I was drinking pure sea water. The other was grapefruit instead of pineapple.

Average service. No ambiance. Maybe some other times it's better, don't know. Try for yourself but I will surely not come back.

Recently discovered this gem while planning a party for a group of 40 people . Service was impeccable , the staff was patient , attentive and friendly despite the fact that we were a bit late . Food was great , ambiance was great , I would definitely recommend this place !!

This was my first time dinning here. Very trendy, Great place for just drinks as they have a variete of different alcohols so they can make what you want or they can suggest a drink. We started with the charcuterie platter, very nice, so many different types of home made meats. Great start. We chose plates for sharing, loved it as we were 4 people, and being able to try different plates was amazing. Everything was very good, the flavours were there. We had 8 plates that we shared, risotto, beef tartare, gnocchi, all excellent. Thank you for a wonderful dinner. The place and staff are top. Enjoy.

Awesome restaurant with a great ambiance and beautiful design. The service was very pleasant and the staff is knowledgeable. The food, of course, is amazing, and they have a great selection of wine, including bottles from private producers, which is a big plus for wine lovers who want to try something special.

I love places like this! Bright clean lines, cool music in the background, a great price friendly wine list, and food executed perfectly. My wife and I stopped in for Sunday brunch today. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine list and all items on the menu. One interaction in particular set this place apart: my choice of wine was not available so the manager brought over two comparable bottles and offered to open both for me to taste. The first bottle was perfect so I elected not to bother opening the second but I thought having the option was a nice gesture! So the menu was brunch, seemed pretty typical until I tasted my selection. Who knew a simple omelette could taste so good? Well, actually I know, but I'm always presently surprised when a chef takes the time to make a dish perfectly. In this case the omelette was seasoned perfectly, had a nice combination of sautéed onions and prosciutto, was cloud like fluffy and had the nice outer crust that only butter can create. The manager walked us through the dinner menu and suggested a few favourites. I can't wait to go back

We had a group of 11 people for dinner following a business meeting. We sat at the hightop tables. Great service. Food was delicious and the restaurant wasn’t overly busy for a Thursday night. We ate family style!!

Bloody hambar.. best cocktail. We kept stopping by this place when we were in Montreal because the drinks and food were great and the bartenders were very friendly!!!

I had the scallops. My fiancé has the gnocchi. We were not disappointed. We came here for Christmas dinner. It was delicious and cute inside. We shared a bottle of wine and everything was reasonably priced. Service was fantastic and friendly. Would definitely come back !

Christmas lunch: $35 for kid size portions. Seems like a nice restaurant with great atmosphere but not worth the price for their food. Leaving...still hungry. Zero free refills on black coffee (3 cups = $12).

Hambar used to be my favorite spot for a steak tartare, a gin martini and enjoy the night. But my recent experience has proven short of any expectation. I had asked the bartender if they still do steak tartare, but instead of answering, she asked me if I wanted water. If I wanted water I would have gone to the cafe across the street. If she can't answer a straight forward question, what kind of attitude is that?! The service has been subpar. I simply left at the end.

Its OK , service is fantastic and very professional. Just the menu is not my favourite. Has not changed for a long time, portions are a bit small but overall food is tasty. A bit too expensive for what you get compared to other places in same street
