We walked in to cancel our reservation as it had been a long travel day and our almost 2 year old son did not seem like he had it in him, truth be told we were worried about the other diners experiences. I told them this and they said no do not worry, we have a quiet table in the back you can have, we were thankful we agreed, cocktails, salad and the shared seafood dinner with piri piri (btw comes with a whole host of delicious vegetables) were all delicious, our son who was up past his bed time did pretty good and the staff were awesome with him, high fiving him as they went by making faces, and to think we almost settled for takeaway food instead. Definitely reccomend!

My family were so pleased with our experience at Helena's. We were visiting from Toronto and friends of ours highly recommended Helena's. Everything was perfect! The restaurant is beautiful and you can see the thought that went into the decor. The Staff were professional and friendly. They were knowledgeable in the wines, food, and flavour profiles. We loved that whenever a dish came to our table the fragrance of the dish ignited our palette before we even tasted it! The fresh herbs and the textures were perfect. We loved the layering of flavours we experienced with each dish. My daughter and I are vegetarian and we had lots of choices and especially loved the mushroom infused rice. My husband is Portuguese descent and he chose the sea bream and thoroughly enjoyed his meal. We also had an assortment of vegetables and they were unique and delicious. We highly recommend Helena's for a fine dining experience!

An exceptional experience at Helena! We had an outstanding dinner for MTLàTABLE — the menu was exquisite from start to finish. The service was impeccable, with a genuine attention to detail that made the whole evening special.
I especially loved the salad and the octopus — both perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The duck was excellent, but the cod truly stole the show — tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
For dessert, the nata came with cinnamon, which wasn’t quite to my taste, and the rum cake had a bit too strong of a rum essence for me. Still, the overall experience was truly top-level — a refined and memorable evening that I would gladly repeat!
