Asparagus salad and octopus are a definite must. A large group was present last night which I estimate added a solid hour to our visit. 4 hours for supper is a little much, however the staff apologized and offered a glass of port wine at the end
The grilled octopus tapa was delicious. It was highly recommended in most of the reviews I read, and for good reason. Texture and flavours were great. I also got a main and it ended up being too much food for me, but no regrets. For my main, I got the Alaskan Black Cod. The sauce paired nicely and fish was nicely cooked. Our group recently had the pleasure of dining at Helena in Old Montreal, and it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. What truly set Helena apart was the impeccable service.
