I loved my experience at Heni so much that it might have became one of my favorite spot in the city ! I went there for the Montreal a table menu, and everything was absolutely delicious and so flavorful. For the appetizer falafel to the desert! And the knowledge and passion of the staff only contributed to make the experience even nicer

As part of Mtl a table, so good value for money
The dishes were very good but nothing particularly “extraordinary” as far as I’m concerned. Super nice and attentive waiter, although no one often came between two courses (e.g. for water or to ask a question)
Very low chairs, I had the impression that my friend in front of me on the bench was 2 heads taller than me; but the server told us that they are in the process of changing them.
The chef “mouths” a bit when the dishes are made, not super pleasant when the table is close to (what I believe to be) the kitchen.
Very nice decor, nice place.

Food and service were amazing, would 100% recommend. We had the falafels, raw kibbeh, kale dip, fish and lamb; everything was so delicious! Try their tasting menu!

Amazing service and location. Although food was good, there was nothing completely out of the ordinary. Wine pairing was good and no too expensive.

So overrated, the food was less than average and ridiculously over priced. Names of items on the menu didn't make much sense for example olive baba Ghanouj is just an olive plate ! They charge you for the bread as well which doesn't make sense since all middle Eastern restaurants offer freshly baked bread for free ... Portions were very small ! We were 2 people and paid 180$ for 3 dishes and wine , we were left hungry and had to go get pizza across the street after we left. Big scam. Would not recommend at ALLL.

I read the reviews and realize that the menu has changed over the short existence of this restaurant. My experience was average in terms of food. Price and gastronomic intention, but in reality bistro quality. It was good, but more. Portions were small. On the other hand, I was impressed by the Lebanese wine list, very interesting to discover.

Great atmosphere, great service and delicious food and cocktails.

Don't miss out on the downstairs speakeasy for some live music and a large list of delicious cocktails.

Became easily my favourite restaurant in the city and for reasons bigger than food. Finally Montreal gets to experience a creative twist on MENA food and done in such an elite manner. As an Egyptian-Palestinian, really proud to see how our culture is showcased with so much creativity in incorporating Quebec ingredients all while remaining committed to the foundations of our culinary culture. Will come back to visit Badin as well soon enough :)

Heni is a foodie paradise. This is Mediterranean food with a twist, where fresh ingredients from local Québec farms are used in place of imported products to create new taste experiences. The result is an amazing fusion of the fresh and the exotic. Topping it all off, the wine pairing was one of the best we’ve had in a long while. We hope to be back soon.

Middle eastern restaurant. Honestly one of the best restaurants I've been to in my life. ALL dishes were 10/10 with no negative comments. Not to mention the service!!! Our server explained the dishes to us as if he had made them himself, explaining the origins of each dish. He even came to clean the table between each service, worthy of a Michelin restaurant. We had the tasting menu for $75 and it was magical. I highly recommend!

Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan options!
