The salad portion sizes have dramatically decreased in the past year. 10$ for a salad that wouldn’t even fill a small coffee cup, which is a shame because I love the kale Caesar.
At first I thought it was just a fluke, because in the past the sizes were decent, but this has been the case consistently now.
That vegan rueben slaps!

The chilli is jam-packed with beans, grains, and veg. Reminds me of my Nan’s home cooking. The food is always delicious, nutritious, and affordable. Atmosphere is soo comfy and cozy. The best place to come relax and grab a bite to eat. If you’re ever having a bad day I truly recommend people watching with a snack and a beverage at the hive.

The coffee is nothing to praise, it's alright. The service, though, rush or no rush, can often be very slow, but the workers are nice. What kind of ownership do I get when the only benefit is being discounted off taxes? What kind of ownership do the workers get when one of them admitted to me that profits are not necessarily shared amongst the workers?A "cooperative" only in name I believe.

I know it's a vegetarian place, but it would be nice if there were more lower carb/higher protein options like veggie and cheese snacks, yoghurt, and stocking boiled eggs more often. It's a lot of white bread and high-calorie pastries. As a side note, I think breakfast sandwiches and bagels+cream cheese would sell really well here, but it's not something they offer.
Disgusting customer service🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Great coffee, nice space, quick service. The cafe puts their values and goals into practice
Paid for a large soup (carrot ginger) to go and I was given a small that was literally half full and Luke warm:|
edit: actually boycotting the hive rn //food tastes great and the place has lots of different seating options.

Delicious food! Terrible coffee! (: The cakes are delicious!
They have amazing pastries and sandwiches. The breakfast burrito, the grilled cheese, and the cheese and ham croissant are the best. And it's all vegan/vegetarian.The staff has always been nice to me and the service adequate.
If youre going to do a student run cafe do it right. I bought a burrito and it took 25 minutes to get it. This is so ridiculous especially when there was 1 girl doing the orders and the rest were just standing around at the cash. The girl doing the food didn't even care about the customers she was talking to the other workers for the most part. On top of that, you decide to charge a lot for a tiny burrito that is only stuffed with potato. If only Concordia used that space for a proper cafe.

I like the idea of this place the food is really bad. im sorry and just lacking. I couldt see this can literally be a cool sandwich shop but they choose this vegan route. Maybe have options for non aswell seeing as MOST people are not vegan. Coffee is weak but ok
