Love their breads, but it's the matzo ball soup and brisket that is the star. Ok, maybe their chocolate covered matzah too. Absolute gem of a place with sweet, friendly staff. No idea about their coffee though. Best Jewish bakery/take out in the city for me.

Let's start with the most important stuff: the baked goods are absolutely spectacular. Over the course of just a few days I sampled the majority of the sweet ones - apple turnover, chocolatine, almond croissant, some sort of twisted cinnamon bun. They are the at the highest end of quality of anywhere I have tried in Montreal. They are not particularly cheap, but they are worth it.
The vibe is very much too cool for school with the industrial chic concrete floors, exposed pipes, and plywood and 80s music just a touch too loud for 9 a.m. The service was good when I was there by a cadre of 20th something bilingual baristas, but it was casual in a way that that might not appeal to all. It very much struck me as a place that will shortly go viral and have lines out the door.

This place is excellent across the board, especially service.
My only remark as an apple lover: please put more apple in the turnovers please, there was a hair's width of it in the last one I ordered!

Best croissant in Montreal!! Buttery, crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside. Can’t have enough of it! You have to go early in the morning… they sold out so quickly! It took me few visits to be able to get the croissant. Enjoy! 🥐

The croissants were fresh and buttery, worth the trip from our Airbnb in Old Montreal!

The best Babka in town! Very kind and helpful service
“I’ll have an Americano with cream”
“Uh, we only have milk.”
Excellent croissants! Buttery and flakey. Tasted amazing. Also had a baguette which was just ok. Did not enjoy it as much...the crust and chew was lacking. Lots of better baguettes in the neighbourhood. Will come back to try other items.

I believe I got the ricotta & zaatar pastry which was DIVINE. I’ve gotten bread here too and it’s always been great. The coffee, however, isn’t the greatest but definitely come here for the food!
The vibe is so cold and uninviting. The sandwiches are fine but definitely overpriced for what they are but worst of all I don't think I've ever been that offended by something such as the latkes I had there, boiled and bland blocks of nothingness with the most horrendous dilled sour cream. I rarely ever leave reviews but please do yourself a favor and avoid getting ripped off there so many better bakeries around that are better priced at a much higher quality.
My fave is their chocolate cookies! 🍪
Just had one of the best pastries I have ever had at this location. I couldn’t believe how good it was.
The best croissant in Canada! My partner loved their croissant and took me there. Their butter comes from Normandy in France. It is worth to do the hike to Plateau just to get their croissant.
