Cool nautical theme going on with refreshing house cocktails. Romeo Collins, Ginger something, and San Tiki were interesting mixes of flavours. The espresso martini was perfect. Picked three meats and a cheese for a board and it was perfect. Will bring more bread on request as well.Service was friendly and efficient, but they weren't always the most attentive and were hard to flag down at those times. Very cool music mix, would go back just for that.

Pleasantly surprised by my experience at Huis Clot, a beautiful gem in Villeray. We were there on a Saturday evening, properly busy. Not too many people. The small menu includes small dishes with ingredients that seem to me to be of good quality. The decor is so good. I loved it and I recommend it.

It's been a long time since I've been to such an absurd place!!For 1 person:$51 for a MINI salmon tartare (starter size) WITHOUT accompaniment and 1 glass of white wine.When I ask if it comes with something they tell me yes, bread... Fries or salad is that too much to ask for?? $26 for a tartare like this....phewLeast comfortable place in the passage when the place is EMPTY and there are only 2 of us at 6:30 p.m.!!!!!Sometimes it's good to question yourself, to the wise, hello!

It's correct. The staff was zero smiles, you would have thought you were in Eastern Europe. The toilets are super dirty, they look like a nightclub at 3am. Several tables were free and they put the ones in front of the toilets, with the neon light. Does the job for a cocktail and a beer but in terms of atmosphere I was not charmed at all, compared to other bars of this type in the area.

I moved in next door to your bar, 2 floors above about 3 weeks ago. Your music is so loud from 10pm-3am that I can barley sleep, even with ear plugs in I can still hear it. My husband has come down to complain several times, you say that you will turn it down yet it continues to be an issue, to the point where we have recently had to file a complaint with police.. You are a cocktail bar, not a dance club. If I was directly above you I might understand but I am two floors above next-door. Please have some respect for your neighbor's.

It was our first visit to this bar, and we were enchanted by the atmosphere.The experience was memorable, and we are already planning to return.
Referring to the name of the business Huis Clos on the internet, I was expecting a place, let's say, a little closed in on itself with a Second Empire style decor. Well no, SUPER warm place! I was treated to a personalized and charming welcome! Afterwards, we ordered an aperitif with a good raw milk cheese which awakened our senses! Then, OMG!!! Upside-down shepherd's pie and raclette! What a delight!!!!! We obviously accompanied everything with a Pinot noir which was recommended to us by the waiter who was professional and extremely entertaining at the same time! We have good memories of this first time and as they say: “It’s a comeback!!!”?

Very disappointed because the restaurant canceled our reservation of 15 people on December 15 because they received a reservation for a larger group. I think it’s a lack of respect for customers ? because it’s been a month since our reservation was made.
