I usually like Il Migio on St-Laurent and eat in the shop pretty regularly. I decided to order takeout for the first time as I am flying to Africa for a work trip tomorrow. As a vegetarian, this was a big mistake. The takeout menu is not clearly written so dishes I know to have meat are not clearly labeled, for example the mushroom pasta. The remaining vegetarian options are gnocchi and cheese ravioli. I ordered the cheese ravioli. I started eating it and discovered it was not cheese, but some sort of meat. I called the store and they sort of shrugged and said we need to fill out a form on UberEats. The only way they are able or willing to address the fact that they served meat to a vegetarian is to provide a refund - no replacement meal with an apology dessert was offered. So now one of us eats tonight, and I am left with no meal. I wish I had not ordered and just made myself an omelet, which I am now about to do. Lousy experience and I can't recommend this place for vegetarians.

I've had good food here, but in addition to sometimes not clearly indicating which dishes are vegetarian, or having surprise meat in ones that seem vegetarian, on a recent order of cheese ravioli, we got meat ravioli instead.
This is really gross for a vegetarian... especially when it can be hard to tell at first that there is meat. And there was no fixing it, because calling the restaurant got us nothing but a referral to Uber Eats, which has no customer service. So, great, one dish will eventually be refunded, but someone doesn't get dinner.
Anyway, not veg friendly, and no resolution to screwing up an order. Most restaurants around here will go the extra mile to make up an error like this, here it was just "too bad."

Food is surprisingly good with really Italian flavor. Staff is great. But there's not much of an atmosphere to enjoy; there is only one long and high table with many chairs to share and another by the window. They prepare the food on demand and there is a fridge and some shelves on the side with Italian imported products. I ordered the campenelle dish and it was really good. I know the entrance is not very welcoming as you cannot see inside and the facade is dark, but overcome that first impression and you won't have any regrets.
