Amazing food and kind staff. A hidden gem of affordable quality dishes.
It’s a shame the opening hours are so limited because I can hardly ever go

Best spot for a quick, easy and cheap meal. Sauce bar + sides feel authentic to Japan.

*cash only* The reviews are correct, the food here is excellent. Delicous savory umami flavors, s,m,l portion sizes for all appetities, lots of sauces to try, and pickled ginger to clean the palette. Bonus affordable prices. I had #7, the veggie and shrimp tempura covered in egg, with a crispy 'karokke' and pickled ginger on the side. The best lunch I have had in along time and I will be back for more.

The curry katsu was really good and fresh! We had it for our craft services at The Brain Train film shoot, and it was great!

Chicken curry is BAD. For 8$ you get a scoop of rice and sauce that just tastes like sugar, little to no curry taste, little to no chicken, a few beans. It's something that cost them less than 50¢ to make, no kidding. They didn't have gyu-don even though I was there when it just opened. If you go there stay away from the basic chicken curry.
Yea it’s cheap but the largest portion will barely fill a 12 year old so it adds up,acting like we ants

Long wait. VERY tasty. Get the curry katsu or egg katsu. Authentic

They deserve all the fame. The cheapest and most authentic Japanese meal you can get. It’s open for a few hours so everyone rushes to get some, but it’s truly worth it.

The curry katsu is legit, and a great value. Full of flavor and with high-quality cutlet. Worth upgrading to the large sizes because the dishes do skew kind of small. Lines are always long, but they move quickly.

I ordered the medium Japanese Curry Chicken and it tasted like sugar sauce with a hint of curry. Lucky I found ONE itsy bitsy piece of chicken. I kid you not! Never again.

Used to come here every lunch years ago, back when they were by Concordia. Will always recommend them. Their food, to me, is home.
