I recently dined at Jardin Nelson and unfortunately, my experience was not entirely enjoyable due to the food.I found the dishes at Jardin Nelson to be lacking in flavor and overall appeal. The menu options did not meet my expectations in terms of taste and quality. The dish I ordered was particularly disappointing; it lacked freshness and seemed uninspired. In addition to the food, the service was also subpar. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, which further detracted from the overall dining experience. While the ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant enough, the disappointing food and lackluster service overshadowed any positive aspects. In conclusion, I did not have a favorable experience at Jardin Nelson due to the disappointing food quality and indifferent service. I hope these aspects can be improved to enhance the overall dining experience for future patrons.

Jardin Nelson is a true gem nestled in the heart of Montreal. From the moment you enter, you're greeted with an enchanting ambiance that transports you to a magical oasis. The outdoor patio, adorned with lush greenery and twinkling lights, sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. The menu boasts a delightful selection of dishes crafted with fresh, local ingredients that tantalize the taste buds. But what truly sets Jardin Nelson apart is its exceptional live music performances, which enhance the dining experience with soulful melodies and upbeat rhythms. Whether you're enjoying a leisurely brunch or a romantic dinner under the stars, Jardin Nelson offers an unparalleled culinary journey that leaves a lasting impression.

Visit somewhat spoiled by loud customer at table about 15 ft away (Sunday, May 28) Informed waitress and male staffer in blue shirt. Male said could do nothing but relocate us, whichmay have been fine if not halfway through meal and if table readily available. Always try to visit Jardin when in town and waited half hour to get in. Bad luck and disappointed in outcome. Not once did i see that table look at musicians or applaud. Unsure why there. Guy spoke almost non-stop. Believe just loud, not drunk. Perhaps he was oblivious to surroundings. Although packed house, at one point there were two empty tables (they were distinct groups) beside his. I think this not coincidental. Anyway, believe it could have been gently pointed out to customer that he might lower volume when musicians playing. (I am anglo, as was loud customer.) Unless mistaken, I believe the main attraction is the music.Otherwise all was fine.

Jardin Nelson will always have a line of people waiting to get in during the summer months, but I can tell you the wait is worth it! This is a lovely restaurant set in a beautiful garden away from the craziness of Montreal’s Old Town streets. It’s literally a hidden oasis! Once you’re given a menu, you’ll find there is a plethora of options - they have a very impressive selection of crêpes (which I absolutely would recommend getting), excellent salads, very good pizzas, and that’s really just scratching the surface! They have so many different items on the menu, it’s crazy! Try a variety of different things, and don’t be afraid to ask the waiters/waitresses what they would recommend. That’s what we did, and it helped a lot! Service was very good, food came out in a reasonable manner, and despite it being in a very touristy part of Montreal, prices were not exorbitant. All in all, a very impressive restaurant we will always return to whenever we are visiting the city!

Beautiful terrace for lunch at the old port of Montreal in the summer. Always a line up, which can be annoying, but also a sign that the place is loved by many! Had the bruschetta and the ceviche. They were both good, but nothing out of this world. Still thoroughly enjoyed my lunch experience at Jardin Nelson.Parking: Parking is scarce in the old port of Montreal. 90% of street parking near the restaurants are paid parking. A lot of parking lots available nearby ranging anywhere from $18 to $35 per day.

I've been there several times and every time it's wonderful! The food is really good and the atmosphere is nice. The decoration of the premises makes this interior terrace distinguished and original. The place is also perfectly located in relation to the activities of the old port.

This is a wonderful restaurant and also my favorite place to visit in Montréal. They serve delicious food and have an accomodating staff. The interior of the restaurant is a very open, airy environment. Be sure to come when the live music is being performed!

Everyone told me I had to try this place. So I did. I hadI stopped for lunch on what was one of hottest fall days I’ve encountered. 32c. On October 3rd. The patio was lovely. Shaded and breezyI had the crepe Florentine. It was a nicely presented but pretty basic. I thought it was a bit overdoneGreat service. I’ve tried it. I would go back
